Mom & Dad,
So how do talk to angels? Pray I guess. Well we are starting November 1St 2020 tomorrow what a mess our planet is right now.
Mom & Dad you guys should have welcomed James home by now. James left us for his place in heaven to be with peace and god. James was sick for a long time and was not going to get better.
Christine and Mariah have suffered for a long time hoping James would find medical help and relief. The help never came. The doctors failed James. He never recovered from his surgery in January. James never made it home he passed in a hospice facility on Sept. 25th 2020. I will never forget him. He was a gentle giant. James was good to my daughter Christine when he was healthy and a good dad to Mariah (20). Mariah really never knew her dad to be healthy. At 54 James left us all to early he will be missed dearly. So take care of him in his new home in heaven.
Help us get through this pandemic and help our country heal.
Presidential election in 3 days ask the big guy to get the right man elected the guy who will do the right thing by the people.
Love and miss you both and James too.

Hey Dad, well we are fighting a virus down here we need some help from heaven. See if you can talk to the boss up there, tell him the world is out of sorts right now and in some ways we probably brought this on our selves with all the political cockroaches fighting and the unrest in the world. We need to come together as a country and bring peace back in our lives with lots of prayer. It must be a global fix. I think the big boss is not happy with all us down here. Just maybe we all need to wake up and put our the faith in God, country and family let's pray that he will give us another chance.
Miss you and Mom all the time.

My twelve years have passed, incredible, seems like yesterday we shared a beer and some great family memories.
Dad you were tough, strong and loving to all the grandkids. So many good things have happened in family since your passing. New babies, college graduations, New careers and all the kids doing well.
We all miss you and Mom very much and can only hold you in our hearts.
Rest easy knowing your children and legacy you left behind are doing well.

Hey Mom and Pop, All is well here in Wading River, as far as I know the others are doing fine.
Just letting you know I went with Mike today for the wreath ceremony for Pearl harbor, he is 86 and still taking charge. Amazing!
Over to Foxwoods casino, didn't play just lunch and walked around, after my Vegas trip didn't have the interest in putting any money down the slot hole.
Dad, just to let you know, we put a grave blanket on your Mom's grave, Donna and I and mike took a trip to Queens to get it done. Uncle John and Uncle Fred requested I take care of it. Second year now. Happy to do it.
OK my day is done, off to bed. Miss and love you both. Rich

Hello Mom/Dad..Well it is becoming a very snowy winter. We have had plenty of the stuff and it is getting old quick. More coming tomorrow, which will put us close to a record. Anyway, update on things going on. Lil Rich, who is not so little anymore, is in The Air Guard, he is down at Lackland Air Force Base, He is in The PJ (para rescue) program. He needs a little help from all you Angels up in heaven. Grandma Peg too, He has about 5 weeks left and it is grueling hard for him, but he is hanging in there. Just give him a little helping hand from time to time, when he looks like he may be faltering give him a little push from heaven. Love you and miss all of you.

Hey Mom & Dad.Played some paddle ball today, it was cold and the wind made it seem that much colder here on earth, but it was a good morning to get up and out.I play every Sunday morning with a group of guys mixed ages from 30-80 yes I said 80.Let me tell you they play extremely well. They play smart and they have the killer shots. So needless to say I'm getting my almost 62 year old butt handed to me, but I'm getting faster and smarter every week. Can't wait for this cold to end. Hi Buddy. Sorry this is so late getting on-line. This family has had so many tremendous burdens to carry these past 4 1/2 years...we have lost so many family members...Freddy, Jr., Aunt Francie, Aunt Lois, Uncle Ralph, Katie, you and now Bobby. It has been very hard for your brothers Johnny and Freddy. They both carry very heavy hearts for all of you. God has helped us carry these heavy crosses and has brought us much closer together. You are all having a celebration of family with my family. My dad always said "Who has more fun than Snyders?...more Snyders!" That goes for the Von Voigts as well. Thank you all for the wonderful legacies you have left us. Now celebrate Katie's birthday for us. Happy Birthday, Katie!!!!

You would be so proud of her. I know you are with us. I feel it all the time. I think of you all the time. I know Grandma is with us too. I take comfort in knowing that you guys are there to help us through the tough times. Now Uncle Bobby is with you. May you all embrace each other there as we embrace each of you here. I will never stop loving you and I (we) will never stop missing you!!! Thanks for all you have taught us, it has truly made us a strong and loving family. We will continue to be here for each other when any of us need help or support. Because that's what we do!!! Missing you so so much!!!

HI, DAD...I KNOW IF THERE IS ANY WAY POSSIBLE YOU AND MOM ARE SMILING DOWN ON YOUR KIDS, WE ARE THE BEST BUNCH OF NUTS AND BANANAS YOU COULD HAVE EVER RAISED..WE ARE THE BEST OF ALL THAT A FAMILY CAN OFFER, WE ALL TREAT OUR KIDS GREAT AND WE ALL STAY IN TOUCH AND WE THINK AND TALK ABOUT YOU GUYS ALL THE TIME...I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE BEING TAKEN CARE OF , YOU ARE BOTH IN GODS HANDS...HOW DO I KNOW THERE IS A GOD? WELL I DON'T! BUT WHAT I DO KNOW IS SOMETHING DROVE US ALL TO BE A GOOD SOLID FAMILY AND WE LOVED AND RESPECTED OUR PARENTS AND WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN AND HURT WHEN THEY HURT..NOW THAT IS GOOD AND WE BELIEVE THAT'S WHAT GOD IS...TAKING CARE OF FAMILY AND RESPECTING ALL THE PEOPLE WE COME IN CONTACT WITH..DOING THE RIGHT THING IS WHAT I BELIEVE GOD IS...GOD IS ABOUT DEVELOPING PATIENTS AND CARING FOR THOSE WHO NEED HELP...OUR FAMILY HAS ENDURED A TREMENDOUS HARDSHIP IN THE LAST YEAR AND WE HAVE STUCK TOGETHER LIKE GLUE. THAT IS WHAT GOD IS TO ME.....SO DO I BELIEVE . I BELIEVE IN SOMETHING THAT IS GOOD AND MY FAMILY IS GOOD......LOVE TO ALL..RICH

Grandpa, Thanksgiving came and went and we missed you so much. It is hard for me to believe you are not here, but yet I take comfort in knowing that you are here with us. I have you in my heart and think about you all the time. Mariah talks about you and Grandma all the time. She also misses you both so much. It's hard for the little ones to understand, and yet they know and understand much more than we think they do. Christmas is around the corner and it just won't be the same, but Dad is right, you both would want us to go on the best we can. We will never forget you because you both have taught us so much. Family and Tradition, that's what I keep with me. If it wasn't for the closeness of our family, I really don't know where we would be. Love and miss you terribly!!!

WOW!! i can't believe a week has gone by already. if i only had more time to talk with you, more time to fish with you, more time to watch baseball and football with you, or time to tell you i love you..but now all i have
is the memories of whatever we had while you were here with us...dad you worked hard, you were a busy man always doing what you had to do for your family...i will miss the strength that you had the warmth you showed your grandchildren all the things that made you the man that you were...you are sorely missed and always in my heart and all the rest of us that are here to follow in your footsteps.we will take care of the kids and also take care of each other all 6 of us and 16 grandchildren and 4 greatgrand kids....my, my, what a legacy...at your funeral i only wish i could have done a more complete job of the kind of man you were and what you meant to all of us, but you get one shot at it and i gave it my best ...so if i left anything out.it's in my heart and hearts of all your children..R.I.P my father and give mom a hug for all of us....love and miss ya rich...lets go mets>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
