The sadness I feel for a young boy I used to call "The mayor of Brentwood," has me in tears just writing this. Little Bernie knew everyone and played with my children all the time. I was good friends with his mom Jean and hope and pray that Jean, Marie and the rest of the family know that my heart goes out to them. I truly loved "Little Bernie Lynch" and he will always be in my prayers. May he smile with the angels.

Our heartfelt sypathies go out to the entire Lynch family . Although I have not been in contact with Bernie for many years he will always be remembered in my fondest childhood memories, trouble was one thing we could always count on when we got together (not always our fault)
but we always had a good time, he had a contagious sense of humor and we could laugh at most anything, he was always the smallest guy but had the courage of a lion, he was never afraid of anything. I will always think of him with a smile. Our hearts go out to his family.

Dear Marie & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Berny.
I remember South Jr. High like it was yesterday and the great times we had at the Double Deuce. My prays are w/ you & your family.

I wish all the members of the Lynch family peace at this horrible time. I lived next door and I remember "Bernie" from the day he was born and remember watching his mother Jean trying to teach him to walk on the front lawn...I remember Jean allowing him to name his first kitten...which he called "Four". He was a beautiful baby, a sweet young boy (who always cut the heads of the fish for us to use as bait when we all went crabbing at the marina with my mom because no one else would do it) and though I lost touch with the family after all these years I am sure he was a good man...God bless him and all who feel sadness at losing him.
