Avron "Bud" Cadiff

CADIFF - Avron "Bud", passed away at his home in Roslyn on December 4, 2007. He was the son of Al and Edith Cadiff. His show business family traveled frequently and he spent time backstage with Vaudeville performers on the road. He joined the Navy after Riverside Military Academy in Georgia. He married the former Maureen "Jackie" Cadiff in October 1954 and they had two children, Nancy and Scott all of whom survive him, as well as Nancy's husband, Jeff Leibman and their son Zach and Scott's wife Joanna (nee Weiner) and their children Samantha, Alexandra and Nicole. He adored his family and was a devoted grandparent. He was a builder of custom homes and later owned a chain of movie theaters. He formed MBC Construction becoming an innovator in building and renovating theaters. His son Scott joined him and he retired and spent Winters in Florida with Jackie and his beloved family. Services will be Sunday, December 9 at 12:30 in the Community Reform Temple, 712 The Plain Road, Westbury, NY 516 333-1839 with interment following.
