William Kennedy Obituary

KENNEDY - William H., of Islip Terrace (formerly East Islip) on December 7, 2007. Mr. Kennedy was a member of, Ancient Order of Hibernians "Our Lady Of Knock", Division Seven. In 1992 Mr. Kennedy was given the distinction of being named "Hibernian Of The Year", an honor he held in high esteem. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Brophy), loving father and father-in-law of William H. and Jean, John and Charlene, Maureen and Greg Williams, Walter and Eileen, Kevin and Sharon, Kathleen and Al Baker, Joseph and Patricia, Jane and Peter Silverstein, Elizabeth and Richard Foote, cherished grandfather of Jennifer and her husband Dan Grant, James, Sarah, Matthew, Christine, Patrick W., Erin, Kevin James, Kaitlyn, Robert, Christopher, Stephen, Holly, Patrick, Brian, Julia, Kathleen, Eve and William adored great-grandfather of Ryan fond brother and brother-in-law of Mary and Charles Mintzer. The family will receive friends Sunday only between the hours 2-5 and 7-10PM at the Albrecht, Bruno & O'Shea Funeral Homes, Inc. 62 Carleton Avenue; East Islip where Hibernian Services will be conducted Sunday at 8PM Mass of Christian Burial 9AM Monday at St. Mary's R.C. Church East Islip with Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in Bill's memory to Hope House Ministries.
