Lucille J. Duby 1937 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Lucille Jeannette Duby, 70, of 21 Central Ave. died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Sept. 27, 1937, a daughter of Sylva Robert and Cecile Rougeau Robert, she attended local schools and also attended the former Bliss Business School. Mrs. Duby was last employed at the Price Chopper Supermarket in North Adams for over 20 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves her husband, Lawrence A. Duby, whom she married May 3, 1958, in the former Holy Family Church. Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Lynne Duby-Martin of Beverly, Michelle Duby of North Adams; Jacqueline Dubreuil of Lanesborough and Paula Fisher of Washington; five grandchildren, Eric Martin, Hannah Dubreuil, Ethan Dubreuil, MacKenzie Fisher, and Cullen Fisher; a brother, J. Valmore Robert of Deltona, Fla.; two sisters, Catherine Potvin and Pauline Perrier, both of Stamford, Vt., and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Lucille Duby will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at 8 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 8:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA-Hospice of North Berkshire in care of the funeral home.
