Marjorie Cutler Obituary

Marjorie Cutler 1926 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Marjorie Ethel Cutler, 82, of 123 South Row Road, Townsend, Vt., formerly of Main Road, Stamford, Vt., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Fitchburg. Born in North Adams on Jan. 8, 1926, daughter of Lewis R. Cutler and Ethel M. Fairbanks Cutler, she attended schools in North Adams and Stamford and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1943. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 1947. Marjorie was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for over 30 years until her retirement in 1984. At Sprague, she worked in the Research & Development and Advertising departments. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, and was a former member of the New England Morgan Horse Association. She was active in the Stamford community and served on the Board of Listers, the Zoning Board, and the Planning Commission. She leaves, Randy Jane Crosier, with whom she made her home, and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Marjorie Cutler are private. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Dept. in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
