Lillian P. O'Brien 1920 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Lillian P. Trahan O'Brien, 88, of 22 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Monday Sept. 29, at the Sweetbrook Health Care Center in Williamstown. She was born in North Adams, on Feb. 27, 1920, daughter of Francis and Florinda Roy Trahan-Rougeau. She attended the former Notre Dame Parochial School in North Adams. She was employed at the Apothecary Hall, Treet Cleaners and Richard Cut Rate. But for most of her life she was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church in North Adams where she was an active volunteer. Her husband William O'Brien died in January of 1969. She leaves two daughters, Barbara Reardon and her husband, Robert, of North Adams, and her caregiver, and Carol Cohen and her husband, Donald, of Edmond, Okla.; a daughter-in-law, Diane O'Brien of North Adams; six grandchildren, Michelle DeRose, a caregiver, and her husband, Larry;, Scott Lizotte and his partner, John Lombard; Susan Harmon, and her husband Scott; Leslie Grant and her husband, Mark; Lisa Rennell and her husband, Arron, and Kristie Henderson and her husband, Justin; eight great-grandchildren Alisa, Scott Jr., Nicholas, Dalton, Alex, Allyson, Molli Beth and Ashleigh; two great-great-grandchildren, Brianna and Elijah, and a cousin, James Dynes. She was predeceased by a son, William O'Brien, and by a brother, Francis Trahan. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will take place Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church. Burial will take place at a later date. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for Alzheimer's Assoc of Western Massachusetts through the funeral home.
