John Bradley Obituary

John M. Bradley 1934 - 2008 WILLIAMSTOWN John M. Bradley, 74, of 77 Nutmeg Lane died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at his home. Born in North Adams on Jan. 15, 1934, a son of Michael and Anna Etman Bradley, he attended schools in Williamstown and was a 1952 graduate of the former Williamstown High School, where he was member of the varsity football team. He was a member of the Vermont National Guard in Bennington, Vt. He was employed for 20 years at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and was last employed at the General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for 30 years. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in North Adams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on his computer. He was an avid longtime Boston Red Sox fan. He leaves his wife, Angeline Lampiasi Bradley, whom he married Sept. 27, 1958, in St. Anthony's Church; a son, Michael V. Bradley of South Easton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Clancy. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's of Padua Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial Donations are suggested for the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through funeral home.
