Albert Kwetz Obituary

KWETZ - Albert R., age 90, of Englewood Cliffs, on February 18, 2007. Beloved husband to the late Biruta (nee Ambraziejus). Beloved father of Barbara Allan, her husband William and granddaughter Maggie Allan. Born in Brooklyn, NY. A World War II veteran of North Africa and Sicily, he had a 43-year career with Mobil Oil. He established and was Commander of the VFW Post in Englewood Cliffs, which he merged with Fort Lee VFW Post # 2342 where he remained an active member. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 4-7 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street
"opposite the Fort Lee Library.
" The funeral will leave Thursday at 10 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in Holy Trinity RC Church, Fort Lee at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to Mount Holyoke College, c/o Victoria Schuck Endowment Fund, 50 College St., So. Hadley, MA 01075-1423. Mr. Kwetz helped establish and provided continuous support for this fund for student government studies and internships.
