Ethal Brown

Ethal Brown, age 86, of Tempe, Arizona, died Monday, February 20, 2006.

She was born on February 20, 1920 in Glenwood, the daughter of Pierce Whisenhunt and Mary Lowery Whisenhunt. On February 8, 1940, she was married to Rupert Brown who preceded her in death on August 5, 1984.

A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Brown and her husband moved to Arizona in 1949.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, C. W. and Sandra Brown of Tempe, Arizona; her daughter, Kathy Garren of Tempe, Arizona; five grandsons, Robert Moore of Parker, Colorado, Bryan Moore of Aurora, Colorado, Michael Moore of Maricopa, Arizona, Craig Brown of Gold Canyon, Arizona and Kevin Brown of Aurora, Colorado; twelve great-grandchildren; and her brother, Harold Whisenhunt of Atoka, Oklahoma.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2006 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood.

Interment will be in the Langley Hall Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
