Our Dear Jan, Today was such a beautiful tribute to Bobby. The weather was perfect, the ceremony was so gracious and the gathering of your family and friends was a wonderful celebration of Bobby's life. He will be missed by all of us. I am so thankful for all the great times we were fortunate enough to share over the years. We love you and you know that you just have to call for us to be there. Love Cindi and Braxton

Dear Jan,
Please know that Mimi and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. We will always treasure the times we spent together with you and Bobby. We laughed out loud of our memories as Fighting Ocala Wildcats and loved the glorious Championship's of our beloved Gators. I know he will be smiling down on the SWAMP from the best seat in the house next season.

Dear Jan, Chip and Katie, and Chad,
I was so fortunate to have known Uncle Bob for so many years. He had the amazing ability to do almost anything. The greatest gift he gave to all was his love. Growing up with him made him by far my favorite Uncle and protector.
To every little girl he met they were his princess. He will be greatly missed but certainly not forgotten. My prayers and love to all the family. Jan you are truly an amazing lady. Your kindness goes beyond words. Chip and Chad he will be in your heart's forever.
Love,

Dr. Bob has left this world far too soon, and he will be sorely missed by the entire community. He was a good and kind man who Ocala was lucky to call "son."

My dearest Jan,
I have not lived in Ocala since the mid-eighties...currently living in Dallas. I read the Star Banner every morning, though, because it makes me feel closer to home. I am so saddened by your loss of Bobby and find it so hard to believe that many of our classmates have gone on to be with our Lord. May God give you strength and peace as you grieve and teach you to live in happiness in the days ahead. I miss you, Jan, and far too many years have passed since I last saw you. Maybe we can have lunch the next time I get home.
My love and prayers are with you.

This is so sad. Bobby was a good man who fought a good fight. He had a life full of accomplishments and love. I am so happy that he had class of '62's dreamgirl, Miss OHS, Jan, by his side and in his boats all these years. Robert and I had just reconnected with him the last few years and will miss him. God Bless Jan and the rest of his family. Psalm 91....

It really should be pointed out that Dr. Williams donated countless hours and free eyeglasses to some of the children at Fessenden Elementary School. The parents of these students could not afford proper eye care to their children. And you know what? Dr. Williams did not brag nor gloat about all the good he had done. Like the man of class that he was, he kept it to himself.
Dr. Bob.....GOD is now rewarding you for your deeds!

The loss of Dr. Bobby is like losing another piece of my father. My father began taking me to his office when I was a little girl - he fitted me for my first pair of glasses. I learned how to speed-read because of some kind of contraption he had in the back of his office - little did they know at the time that I got the answers out of the back of the book! Have to say though...I'm a very fast reader even now. Recently Dr. Bobby told me a story about he and my dad. Somehow I had never heard it before - it was hysterical (about their Jim Walter days) and reminded me of so many other things my father did in his lifetime. They were very good friends and seeing Bob was a great reminder of their friendship...I will truly miss him.
