Debbie,
Although I only had the opportunity to meet Norm and make his acquaintance through the Elks for a few short years, he was always gracious and mentoring towards me -- truly like an older brother. There are no words that I can utter that have not already been said about your loss in this Earthly world we are in now, that would bring you anymore solace or comfort. If there were I would present them immediately. May the L-rd bless you and keep you, and until such time, reunite you with Norm. In the meantime, life here moves on and I pray for you to have the strength and support to move on, one day at a time, and bring the love, compassion, and wisdom you have to others from having experienced the blessing of a husband like Norm.

Norm, I know you're in a better place now, free of pain and suffering, in the loving arms of our savior and Lord. When you came for your interview with Karta in July of 1996, in your auto mechanics uniform, I was initially hesitant to hire you for a very important (to Karta) position. After we started talking about your understanding of the aircraft maintenance world, I felt very comfortable and hired you on the spot. What a break for Karta! We will all miss you Norm. Save a place for me up there.

Deb--Norm was like a brother to me, a great friend, and traveling companion for several years with AREP. I knew I could always count on Norm to get the job done that lay before us. You were the light in Norm's life--he always spoke highly of you. I enjoyed knowing and working with Norm--he was a great guy. I pray that God will send you protection, peace and comfort as you adjust without Norm by your side. He is without pain and suffering in his new life with our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. God Bless You and your family.

I first got to know Norm when I went to work for Karta. In just the short 16 months I was there, I became very aware of who Karta's number one employee was... not only from the Karta aspect, but from the Tinker aspect too. Norm, being a retired Chief knew how important the job was and not just to the Air Force but to our Nation. Norm was a good man and well respected among his peers. We all loved him and will miss him
