I just heard about Marie and am so sorry. She was one of the most inspirational friends I have had the pleasure to be friends with. We have all lost a great lady.

to the barton and wilson families, please accept my deepest sympathy fr the loss of marie. i could hardly believe this news. alot of my fondest childhood memories are ones that were spent with jackie and marie, and the barton family. i'm sure she will be sorely missed. i pray you all will be comforted at this time.

I am so sorry to learn of the sad news about Marie! As you know, we all lived/grew up in the same ward in Long Beach. I have very wonderful memories about each and every one of you! I was especially good friends with Marie, as we were the same age!
Sometimes the pain of losing those we love can be almost too much to bear. I pray that you, and her family, are all doing well! Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear Jay and Family,
We were so deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and wonderful servant in the Gospel. We will truly miss her and will remember all the good times serving together in Church callings. I will miss e-mailing her with funny stories. Please remember that thanks to the Plan of Salvation we will all see each other again. I once received a card that stated "The tide may erase our footprints, but only for a moment, for having walked her once, we remain always". I'm sure you will feel her presence during this hard time. Jay, a "small world story"...Marie was best friends to Kathy, who works with Dorothy -the sister of Laura (Lolly Peyton) who is married to Keith Martin. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of your wife's passing. 35 years of marriage here on earth doesn't sound very long. How blessed we are for eternity. marie was great person! always joking around with the boys when she came to town, i cant recall ever seeing her WITHOUT a smile on her face!!! she will be greatly missed, but always know shes smiling down on you guys & the world!

Dear Jay, Erick and Marc,
Marie was such a wonderful and kind, gentle person. I always loved seeing her and talking with her at church, and then later on it was always so nice to see her at Singles Ward Activities. She was the first friend I had when I started going to the Singles Ward. She has truly blessed mine and Brandon's (and Emma's) lives. We will always remember her and love her.
We are praying that the Spirit will comfort you during this difficult time. We love you all.

Jay, Erick, and Marc,
I am so sorry for your loss. Marie will always have a special place in my heart. She was my mom's best friend, confidont, walking buddy, and so much more. I have so many wonderful memories that I hold close to my heart. I will always remember her cookies, king sized candy bars at Halloween, and the time she came over to clean my house after Kaidee was born. I am so happy to know that through the plan of salvation I will get to see her again. I am so honored that I was able to be a part of her life. I love you guys.

I am so sorry. I will always remember Marie as a lively, witty, funny, caring and loving person. That's how she was the last time I saw her. I've been praying for you all to feel comforted by the Spirit, as I know that the only comfort in times like this can come through our Savior. I'm thankful to know that families are eternal.

We have all laughed, cried and spent many hours together as friends and in the joy of our yearly get-togethers in St. George. Thanks for sharing your sons w/ me and my family in Utah. I truly consider them my brothers. Marc always got butterflies when you guys would come up to Utah or when he would go home and visit. He loves you and Marie very much.
