My condolences to Joey's family.
I work for Wiley Publishing and I hired Joey to work on QuickBooks For Dummies. She did an excellent job and I continued to hire her for future editions. She was always very professional and a pleasure to work with. I know that she always enjoyed working on the books.
I was very sad when I learned of her passing.

We were so sorry to hear about Joey's passing. I knew her through the QuickBooks Online Community. Her willingness to share her knowledge with total strangers blew me away. And the fact that she did it with humor and kindness made her contributions all the more valuable. We'll miss her more than we can say. Our best to all her family and friends.

I know Joey only through her responses for my pleas for help. Her kind directions, sharp wit, editorial comments and boundless patience are the legacy she has left for me personally. I appreciate that gift and treasure it. May Heavenly Father bless her and your families.

I, too, knew Joey from her on-line forums posts. She helped me tremendously and I enjoyed reading her posts to others. Her sense of humor was very obvious & delightful.
Not many people can make as big a difference in the lives of so many people, but Joey did. She will be sadly missed but remembered always.
My prayers are with you.

I knew Joey through her astonishingly active and knowledgeable participation in internet accounting user groups. She gave so much so selflessly and tirelessly. I'm glad that she knew how much we admired and appreciated her and I hope that this was some small compensation for all she gave. Her family may justly take pride in the very high esteem in which she was held by so many. She will be sorely missed by us all.

Joey was a fantastic friend to all that new her on-line and off-line. I miss her and all of those that have not met or read her replies for "Please help me.." will not know the fantastic person she was or her humor.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joey's family and friends during this difficult time. Like many others, I knew Joey long distance - through the various forums. From the beginning I felt as though I had known her for years. In fact, it has been years now and I will treasure the memories and e-mails we shared.
She was truly a special lady, always willing to share her knowledge and wisdom - and usually with a bit of humor thrown in that made others feel comfortable. She will be missed by many, as she really was one of a kind that we all came to love and depend on.
Love You & Miss You,
Rox

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joey's passing. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. She helped a lot of people through her many, many, posts online, at different accounting forums. That is how I knew her, as Joey EA. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. She will be missed.

You can't replace a one-of-a-kind and Joey was just that. Even at a distance she was a good friend, a confidant, and a mentor to me. She was always there when needed. My days will be a little darker now. Love you Joey.
