Dear Kathy and Valerie,
It was with deep sadness that I learned of Paul's death. I am so very sorry for your loss and mourn him also. What I liked most about Paul was his consistency and Godly wisdom; he was always there to speak a word of encouragement when needed or pray with me on a moment's notice. It was a distinct honor to know him; I can say confidently that Paul he is among the finest men that I have known. Mere words cannot convey my appreciation for the Godly example he provided to me and so many others. Paul is in Eternity now; in my human mind my first instinct is to wish he was still with us. My spiritual instinct, however, reminds me that God knows what He is doing, even when it does not make perfect sense. With that, I take a measure of comfort in knowing that he is present with our Lord. May God's grace be sufficient for you both in this time.

As Paul grew older he was a good student and made his parents proud of him. As he grew older he helped his siblings with some of their decisions which turned out to be wise ones. He always stopped in Grandma Godfrey's to say Hi when we were in Fort Edward. Alwlays cheerful, all of you have your favorite memories and I hope they help you through this sad time.
