Clarence Burch Obituary

GLENS FALLS Clarence R. Burch passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Glens Falls Hospital. Clarence was born on June 14, 1954, in North Hebron, N.Y., the son of Elmer and Lettie (Barrett) Burch. Clarence had been employed at Tatko Brothers Slate Co. in Middle Granville. Survivors are his daughter, Barbra Burch of Hudson Falls; his sisters: Shirley Breault of Glens Falls, Patty McClure, Marie Winchell, Ruth Bennett, and Pauline Baker all of Granville, Dora Winchell of Hartford, N.Y., Betty VanGuilder of Whitehall and Helen Baker of New Hampshire; his brothers: Chuck Burch of North Hebron, Lyman Burch and Donny Burch both of Granville; a nephew, John McClure of Granville; and nieces, Patty McClure of Granville and Crystal McClure of Queensbury. Clarence was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Elmer Burch and Wayne Burch, a special niece and friend, Cheryl L. McClure and a granddaughter, Hanna Louise Burch. A funeral will be held today, July 3, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, N.Y., with the Rev. Robert Flower officiating. Burial will follow at the North Hebron Cemetery.
