Francis Wilbur Obituary

WHITEHALL Francis L. Wilbur, 44, of Clemons, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 25, 2008, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on county Route 41, in Kingsbury. Born on July 23, 1964, in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Leon "Pete" Wilbur and Fannie Marie (Marino) Wilbur. For many years in this area, he was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and spending time at OTB with his dad. He loved the New York Jets football team and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Bridget Lee Wilbur, and one niece, Kayla Wilbur. Besides his mother of Clemons, he is survived by one daughter, Briane St. Louis of Granville; a son, Nicholas W. Shevil of South Glens Falls; three stepdaughters, Charlene Euber and Sheena Smith, both of Argyle, and Ivelisse Rosario of New York City; a dear friend, Zenova St. Louis Dudley of Granville; his companion, Madeline Rosario of Whitehall; two brothers, Leon Wilbur III of Clemons and Timothy Wilbur of Clemons; two sisters, Tammy Lee Wilbur Baker and her husband, Timothy, of Athol, and Misty Lynn Lee Wilbur of Clemons; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Pike Brook Cemetery in Clemons. Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to the Bayview Gardens for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams St., Whitehall, N.Y. 12887.
