Hey Buddy, just found your memorial card while sifting through a box treasures from the past. Brought on a smile and a rush of memories....all soo good! The Valiant and ride down Thatcher Park Mountain in to Altamont . The Imperial and boom, boom-boom-boom down Knox Drive, The Pastry Caper (Yeah, he's a bird alright), Big Red, The Tugboat incident, Hootenanny, Miss Doucette, You, me, M & (1st date w) J at and all the best of times & laughs we four had together. We were the Kings, fearing nothing and always walking tall with a bounce in our step. You were as good a friend as there could be...hope your doing ok and looking forward to a few more laughs and a couple cold ones!

Dear Family,
I will add to what Sandy has written by saying that the closeness of the brothers and their families was a model for all families. What a great time the cousins had together as a result. The concern for Edith's welfare is an indelible memory for us. Also, I will never forget the high school twins playing basketball together at Uncle Larry and Aunt Connie's Memorial Day picnic on the first occasion that Sandy brought me home to meet everyone. That first impression of fun and closeness was confirmed over the years. I can't imagine how much you will miss him.

Dear Kim,Larry, Alex and Families,
How sad it is to hear of Birdie's suffering and passing. In contrast, there were many happy times with all the family, made even happier when the "twins" arrived. I remember the first time I saw them as new babies. Uncle Larry and Aunt Connie brought them over in their twin infant seats to our Aunt Jo's house in Alplaus,N.Y.
The infant seats were set up on the counter and we spent the afternoon in her big kitchen surrounded by an overjoyed family. Aunt Connie had such fun telling and retelling how "Birdie" got his name. How poignant that the name stayed with him, as he brought all who knew him an uplifting spirit we will never forget. Our deepest sympathies at this terrible loss of such a good man.

Kim and the entire DiLallo family, we are very sad to see a great guy pass on to watch over all.I recently read a poem by Linda Ellis, The Dash. After you read it, you will agree that Stan did live "the dash" to his fullest and made the most of those moments. The lake will NOT be the same.

It was sad to hear of Cousin Birdie's death. We knew he was in a tough battle. He'll be remembered as a boy with a big smile most always with his two brothers, and as a grown man for his kindness to the Cusato and the Terwilliger families, as his father would have wanted. It was appreciated. Our condolences to all of the DiLallos.
