Beatrice Mosher Obituary

BEND, Ore. Beatrice (Tinney) Mosher, 87, passed away on Nov. 8, 2007 of natural causes. She was born April 21, 1920, in South Glens Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late Bernard and Frances (Kirby) Tinney. Ms. Mosher attended South Glens Falls High School. She married Raymond C. Mosher on June 6, 1937, in Feeder Dam, N.Y. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, politics, travel, baseball and spending time with family and friends. She was a 40-year Bend resident, a Bend Lioness, a member of the Elks Lodge and AARP, former owner of Bend Viking Sewing Center and was a volunteer at the St. Charles Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; one brother; one sister and a special friend, Eugene Tabor. Survivors include four sons: Robert of Bend, Ore., Calvin of Gig Harbor, Wash., Clifford of Silverton, Ore., and Raymond of Oceanside, Calif.; two daughters, Debra Klatz of Beaverton, Ore., and Yvonne Mosher of Bend, Ore.; three sisters, Anna Pagliaroni, June Corrento and Louise Everts; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Deschutes Memorial Chapel, 63875 Highway 97 N, Bend, Ore. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Deschutes Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow the services at Pilot Butte Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Oregon Home Health & Hospice, 2698 NE Courtney Drive, #101, Bend, OR 97701.
