As winter and spring have come and gone and now we start summer. It's' odd not to see you out and about. In our minds eye you're standing at Stewart's with a cup of coffee in hand, you're wrestling with the boys, only in our mind's eye and in our hearts you will always be.

Little Joe (Tokey), I am so thankful I had a chance to meet you and spend a little time with you while Patty and I were in New York at Amber's. The thing I remember the most was your beautiful smile, and the proudness while holding Nevaeh on your lap. You seemed to be a wonderful grandpa, and I know you were loved at home by a wonderful lady that made you happy. The most said about you is how you were so kind, and always willing to help anyone with anything. That, Little Joe, is a true sign of a spirit of an angel. I know you are now with the ones you loved, I am sure they were right there waiting for you when you passed. Know you have a sister that loved you very much, and a friend in me. Bless you Tokey. Loving memories of you always. Love, Jen

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Tokie..I will always remember you as Joe. You had the kindest heart I have ever known. Ready to give of yourself to anyone at anytime, without asking for anything in return. You were one of the good guys...You will be sorely missed and I feel lucky to have met you and to call you my friend. I love you.

Tokey,
I love you and miss you so much. I know that you are with ma and uncle Joe now and watching over us all. You were a very special person as well as my little brother. I have never met another like you. No one has a bigger heart or such a good person. You would give the shirt off your back to anyone that needed it or asked for it. Know that you will be much missed and you are much loved on earth and in spirit. I know that growing up with Richie and I was not the easiest. I remember those christmases when ma would get us all singing and talking on her tapes and never forgot your little stories. I am so glad that you got to meet Jen a while back. She said that she liked you alot and will miss you. I love you little brother.

Hey little bro;
My soul ached when I was told of your earthely death.I say earthley because I am assured by my faith that at the very moment you died down here,you were with our LORD.
I will miss you ,but we'll visit again some day when I reach the point where this road of life meets the sunset.I would say to your loved ones to read Psalms55:6
and know that you were loved.
