Sandra McClintock Obituary

GRANVILLE Sandra J. McClintock passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Fletcher Allen Health Center in Burlington, Vt. Sandra was born on May 12, 1946, in Montour Falls, N.Y., the daughter of John and Edna (Keeley) Warren. Sandy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Andrew McClintock of Granville; two sons, Charles G. Hayes and Joe G. Hayes and his wife, Chrissy, all of Norwalk, Conn.; a stepson, Quinton Jay McClintock of Duncan, S.C.; one daughter, Cheryl M. Hayes and her companion, Robert Spaulding, of Granville; four stepdaughters: Annette Hilstock, Andrea Denise McClintock, Nicole M. Mills and Keshia Smith, all of South Carolina. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren: Kevin, Shawn, Matt, Jess, Nicole, Ian, Corey, Courtney, Brianna, Destiny, Britney, Quinton Jay Jr., Lliah, Shakeeya, Shakerra, Shakquan, Shakquana, Jaikeanna, Deanna, Len Quinton, and Shakyee. Also three great-grandchild-ren: Riley, Hunter and Bean. Sandy was a loving wife and mom. She loved her children. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and reading in the company of her parrot, Zoey. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church in Glens Falls with the Rev. Leonard Oats officiating. Burial will follow at Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Granville. Following the burial, there will be a gathering at the Slate Valley Masonic Center, North St., Granville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening, Nov. 29, 2007, at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.

I first met Sandra through her husband Andrew at an Eastern Star event,and again at several Mason events. I only knew her for a short time, but durning that time, I found her to be a sweet sincere person,who was full of fun,I enjoyed our conversations, I will not forget her,and want to extend my sincere sympathy to Andrew and her family for there loss.
