Anna P. Cason

HADLEY Anna P. Cason, age 76, of Cason Drive, went to be with her Lord and savior, Sunday morning, Dec. 2, 2007, at Saratoga Hospital. Born on Oct. 21, 1931, in Harrisburg, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Aldrich and Nancy (Hughes) Perkins. She enjoyed singing and had taught herself to play guitar at an early age. She had been invited to sing several times on the radio in Wheeling, W. Va., and had played many times at the Grand Ole Opry. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, all types of nature and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William S. Cason, her longtime companion, Viateur DeBlois, and her brother, Jack Perkins. Survivors include four daughters: Mary Ann Burlett and her husband, Paul, of Hudson Falls and their children, Clinton, Ligon, Charlene; Nancy Cason Howard and her husband, Loy, of Dayton, Ohio and their children, Joy, Pamela and Amanda; Martha Cason Fuller and her husband, David, of Lake Luzerne and their children, Joshua, Jamin and Jon; Tammie Cason of Kettering, Ohio and her son, Justin; one son, Billy Cason and his children, Beatie, Erica, William V, and Casie; one sister, Mary Winslow of Stony Creek; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, today, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Myron Ducharme, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Luzerne, officiating.
