Frank P. DeFeo

DeFEO, FRANK P. 85 - of Malaga, NJ passed away on Thursday afternoon in the SJH Elmer Div. after a brief illness. Frank was born and raised in Malaga where he was a lifelong Twp resident. He was the son of the late Fred & Mary (Rambone) DeFeo. He was pre deceased by his wife Vira (Mullica) DeFeo, Son Frank, brother Robert, and son-in-law Butch Hampton. Frank was the owner of DeFeo Brother's Custom Builders for 50 years. He served as a Gunners Mate in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid Aircraft Carrier. Frank also served his community as a committeeman & Mayor of Franklin Twp. He had also served on the Delsea Regional High School Board of Education. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Frank was a member of the Malaga Bear Cat's Hunting Club and the Landisville Social Club where he enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by his daughter, Vira Hampton; daughter-in-law, Millie DeFeo; grandchildren, Frank Gatto and wife Michelle; Gina Gatto and fiance Richard Grandi; Carlo DeFeo and Valerie DeFeo; great grandchildren, Frankie and Mikey Gatto; brother, Paul DeFeo as well as several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives & friends will be received on Monday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. & again on Tuesday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Pancoast's. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the N.J.
