I was one of the fortunate who got to know Maurice while working at the Atlantic City Library. Every morning his warm greeting would help all of us start the day with a smile. He was always so willing to lend a hand in whatever way he could to make sure the library was at its best for the people of Atlantic City.
Maurice's gentle, caring soul will be with us always. My sincere sympathy to all who loved him.

I had the pleasure of working with Maurice @ the Atlantic City Public Library for 18 yrs. and got to know him not only as a gentleman but an excellent co-worker who always would do what ever he could to help you. When he retired he was truly missed and still is. He always had a smile on his face to let you know that he did not mind helping you at all. TRULY A GREAT CO-WORKER.

Maurice was a true and devoted friend. Gentle, humble and sympathetic.
Having worked with him for 10 years, I came to especially appreciate his quest to live a good life. His unblinded faith in others was a testimony to his belief that people are inherently good.
My condolesces to those who knew and loved him.

I worked with Maurice at the ACFPL since 1989 until his retirement in 2006. He became a dear friend right away. He was the first smiling face I saw each morning and always said good morning. We had some good laughs. I never once seen him get mad or say no if you asked him to do something. Maurice you will be Missed! Rest in peace.

I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Maurice Rose for 25 years. He was always an even tempered, mild mannered individual who was always eager to help anyone who needed him. He was an irreplaceable asset to the Atlantic City Free Public Library, and to many of us who worked with him. Maurice would perform odd jobs when asked, for a fee of course and his work was impeccable. I truly enjoyed working with him and he will be sorely missed.

Maurice you are very dear to James and me. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know you are walking on the streets of gold and enjoying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You are extremely happy now.
Love James and Donnie
