I still think of Kris very often. Certain songs on the radio while working remind me of him and the fun times we used to have. Also watching reels on Facebook, etc. remind me of him and his sense of humor.. he loved quoting movies and TV shows..He would crack us all up. Miss him every day.

What an awesome, frequently found friend just showing up in our famous garage to surf or go on the boat. You're jokes and joy will be deeply missed. You always made my brother and I laugh like idiots, such fun times. I know you will live on and will grace all of us with your presence once again as a wonderful person..everyone will be sure when the time comes. Best thoughts to celebrate your terrific life. Love fondly....see you soon

We all loved Kris so much. You could always see that special glimmer in his eye and his super wide smile- the way he would nod is head and smile slowly like he knew more than he was saying. It always made me laugh right away. The last I saw him he was wearing a fake mustashe- on his forehead I think. He was always making people smile. I once asked him how he was doing and he pointed his thumbs toward himself and said "Strong like Bull" and that is how I will always think of him.
God Bless Kris- you are so special and we will really miss you . Love, Heather

Wow what a shocker Kris. I already miss that we wont be sharing a brew or 2 in Atlantic City at a G Love concert, or paddling out on an epic day of surfing, or even doing any last minute Christmas shopping at Macy's. Everyone who knew Kris knew what a special kind of guy he was and if you did not really know him he reached out and had you laughing and feeling comfortable around him. God Bless Kris, his family and all who knew him, he will surely be missed but never forgotten.

I am very sad to hear of Kris's passing. I met Kris on the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol in the 90's and have been friends with him since. We always caught up on our friends from the patrol when we would run into each other at Buds. He was always fun to be around and his passing is going to run deep through the patrol with those that he served with.

I am sad and it will not be the same to visit Buds. My thoughts and prayers to the family and close friend. Kris's life touched many many people.

Kris was such a 'Seven Mile Beach' staple - no matter where you went - he was there - smiling, giving you a hug - welcoming you. Through childhood, high school and now as adults Kris remained the same good friend and quality person- not may people can say that. He will be missed by so many.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends

Kris was the type of person that would give the shirt off his back, seriously one of the nicest people I have ever come in contact with. To many funny stories to tell, but I can still picture him doing the Scooby Doo laugh at the drop of a hat. Zeus you were one of the special ones and you will be remembered.

My sister & I both feel very lucky that Kris has crossed our paths. Although it has been awhile since we've seen Kris, his positive spirit left a strong imprint with us. There are not many people in the world that exert true kindness & his way was a model that we will always carry with us.

I only met Kris a handful of times. He is a good friend of my brother, Nate Kennedy. Nate speaks of Kris often, and each time he does, it is always a story filled with good times. While my path didn't cross with Kris' too frequently, I can tell from all of the stories I have heard over the years that Kris was a special person – and that those close to him appreciate and love his kind heart, his sense of adventure & spontaneity, and his loyalty & love for his family and his friends.

I hope you find comfort in your memories of Kris, and I wish you all peace and hope during this difficult time.

I will never forget the day I met Kris!(probably like 1986) Me and my brothers were fishing on the 83rd St. Dock in Stone Harbor, when we noticed a kid around our age, with a brand new skateboard riding on the dock. Kris decided to try an olley, but he slipped and fell and his brand-new board went right into the bay! We tried to help him get it back, but the tide was to high. Even though Kris was upset about losing his board, we all made the best of it and couldn't help laughing about it. From that day on we were life-long friends. People always seem to say, when someone passes on, that they lived life to the fullest! Kris was LIFE! He touched everyone he came in contact with and did not have a bad bone in his body. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I will always think of Kris when I walk down 83rd to go to Buds, or to get a slice from Macs.
I will miss you my friend!

Dear Zuccato Family,
I was very saddened to hear of Kris’ death……he was much too young to have his full life to come an end. It doesn’t seem fair and none of us are immune to the pain of death; God says, “rain falls on the just and unjust alike”, but it is so difficult to understand.
Whenever I brought ice cream cakes to Bud’s from Sundae Best, Kris always had an infectious smile and a friendly “Hello” (even if he was behind the deli counter!). Having watched him grow up with all our Avalon and Stone Harbor “kids”, they have a special bond that not a lot of young people ever experience, or moreover; maintain over the years of separation and growth…..he will be missed by so many. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you
