Thomas Tarozzi Obituary



TAROZZI, THOMAS A. "TOM" 83 - of Vineland, NJ passed away on Saturday morning in the SJH Reg. Med. Ctr., Vineland, NJ after a brief illness. Tom was born in Vineland and was a lifelong city resident. He was the son of the late Edith (Vecchi) and Virgil Tarozzi. Before retiring in 1989, Tom was employed as a Department Sales Manager with the Sears & Roebuck Company store in Vineland. Tom was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1941 after which he entered the Army in 1944 where he served in Company C 11th Infantry Battalion. He was a member of the American Legion Post #4, President of the Vineland Senior Action Club, Main Ave. Vol. Fire Co. #4, Trustee of the Vineland Relief Association and was an exempt member of the N.J. State Fireman's Assoc. Tom also served as an election day poll worker for 15 years. He was an avid golfer, loved painting, wood working and metal detecting. He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Theresa (Brignoli); 2 daughters: Eileen & husband Rev. Paul Scull, Vld; Barbara Swiss, Bayville, NJ; 3 grandchildren: Michael & wife Deborah Scull, Amie Scull, Elizabeth Swiss; 2 great grandchildren: Keith Scull & Theresa Berkebile. His funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon on Tuesday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd, Vineland, NJ where relatives & friends will be received from 11:00-12 Noon. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Turning Point Ministries, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361.
