Helen Raticoff Obituary



RATICOFF, HELEN C., 98 - of Margate, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23rd in Voorhees. Helen was born in Atlantic City, graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1927, and relocated to New York City many years ago where she met and married Jack B. Raticoff when they were both working with Harry Winston as he started his diamond and jewelry business. Helen was a devoted and loving wife to her husband throughout the 40 years of their marriage. She was a lovely, kind and gentle woman to whom her faith, her family and extended family were of primary importance. She was predeceased by her parents, Dora and Abraham Cohn, her sisters Sadie Rosenblatt and Bea Koren, and her brother, Milton Cohn. She is survived by her sister Ruth Fuhrman of Voorhees, step-daughter Marsha Grossman and husband, Stanley of Margate, step-son, Jerald Raticoff and wife, Lois of Aventura, FL, eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services Friday, September 26th, 12 noon, at Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to the Raticoff Fund, c/o Jewish Federation, 501 N. Jerome Ave., Margate, NJ 08402 Arr. ROTH-GOLDSTEINS' MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Atlantic City
