Ruby Hart Obituary



HART, RUBY - of Muncie, Indiana and lately of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Ruby Valetta was born on December 5, 1911 in Dunkirk, Indiana. She was the third child born to Ray Walten Fager and May Maitland Fager. Her siblings were: Carol, Grant, J. Gilbert, Madjeska, Ray, Phyllis. Ruby graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1929. She married Joseph Grant Hart on December, 24 1932. Her Daughter, Romanelle was born on July 20,1934. Ruby and Grant moved to Muncie, Indiana in 1937. Grant worked for Domestic Supply company until he formed the Hart Pen Company. Ruby and Grant joined the High Street United Methodist Church in 1937. Ruby remained an active member until she moved to New Jersey in April, 1999. She was a resident of the Mey House in Egg Harbor Township. Ruby enjoyed gardening, especially growing beautiful roses. She and Grant enjoyed dancing and traveling. Ruby is survived by her youngest sister, Phyllis Littler of Dunkirk, IN; son-in-law James Wray of Northfield; three grandsons: James Thomas Wray, (Wife Janet - children Katie and James) of Cincinnati, OH, Jeffery Grant Wray (wife Beth Ann, children Victoria and Erica) Of Northfield and John Victor Wray (wife Theresa - Children J.Tyler, Hannah and Justin) of Linwood. Ruby is predeceased by her Husband Grant and daughter Romanelle Hart Wray of Northfield. A viewing will held at the Meeks Mortuary, 415 E. Washington Street, Muncie, Indiana on September 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie, Indiana. Arrangements are entrusted to and written condolences may be sent to: www.Adams-Perfect.com.
