Anna Knorr Obituary

KNORR, ANNA E., - of Somers Point, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away September 26th, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Edward H. Knorr, parents Dr. Charles and Lillian Murphy, sister Grace Murphy. Survived by sons Russel H. (Loretta) Knorr, Richard A. Knorr, and Robert C. (Frances) Knorr, grandchildren, Matthew H. Knorr, Ramona (Analdo) Bodden, and Sara E., great grandchildren, Devin, Ryan, Abigail, Justin, Brendan, and Evan. Anna was a housewife early on, but retired after 15 years as a secretary for the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection. She was a good Christian woman who made friends with whomever she met. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, driving to Cape May Point Beach and Ocean City Boardwalk until her sight failed. A viewing for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 7-9p.m. at the Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home, 304 Shore Road, Somers Point. Burial private at Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Atlantic County SPCA, PO Box 205, Somers Point, New Jersey 08244.
