Edward J. Geary

GEARY, EDWARD, J., 73 - of Northfield, Crossed over on October 6, 2008 at home in Northfield. Born in Atlantic City on August 14, 1935, Ed served in the Forest Fire Service and the Naval Reserve. Lifetime member of Local 322 Plumber and Pipefitters Union of Winslow for 54 years, an avid fisherman, loved boating and hunting and most of all traveling. For the past few years he and wife Virginia wintered in Florida. He is survived by his wife Virginia and her children, Don and Ellen Riddle, Sandra Riddle, Stephen and Camille Kroger, James Kroger, Richard and Victoria Kroger, David and Margot Kroger, Douglas Kroger, sister MaryAnn and Joe Haden and brothers Walter Geary, and William & Delores Geary and predeceased by mother Barbara Geary, father Walter C. Geary and sister Barbara Hauck. He will be sadly missed and always loved. He is also survived by Patricia and Richard Bishop, Edward and Marie Geary, Mark & Myrna Geary, Christine and Jim Opdenaker and, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 312 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Edward J.
