Vincent Lorenzo Obituary

LORENZO, VINCENT, L., "VINNY" 45 - of Millville, died on Wednesday at the Fox Chase Cancer Center of Philadelphia after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Born in Millville, Vinny was a life long resident. Vinny worked for Wheaton Scientific and Alcan as an operator for over 5 years. He was an avid sports fan, and the Oakland Raiders were his favorite team. Vinny enjoyed all sports, and enjoyed playing softball, golf and Texas Hold'em. He also enjoyed the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a huge Beatles fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also served on the Rob Shannon Slo Pitch Volunteer Staff for many years. Vinny loved to have a good time and he played hard. He is survived by his mother and father; Wayne and Sandy Lorenzo of Millville; companion; Penny Westcoat of Vineland; son; Travis Lance of Millville; sister; Donna Hess of Franklin Township, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. Services will be held on Saturday at 10am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville, NJ. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9am until 10am. Written condolences can be sent to: [email protected].

You have been taken from us way too soon. You have been everything I could ever want in a man, a good father to my children, a wonderful lover, and the greatest friend I ever had. I miss you so much, you will always have a special place in my heart. I love you.
