John Hinke Obituary

HINKE, JOHN W., (Jack), 81 - of Wildwood, passed away Saturday at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila. he has been a lifelong resident of the Wildwoods. Mr. Hinke was a veteran of WWII and also Korea in the US Army. He was formerly a bartender at Bellman's Restaurant in Wildwood and had his own construction business for many years. Most recently he was the building supervisor at Wildwood High School and he also sold ice cream on the Wildwood Beach for 25 years. He is survived by: wife of 47 years JoAnn nee Cavalier; two children: John W. Hinke, Jr. and Patricia Ann Parson; three grandchildren: Mary Pat, Molly and Maggie; two brothers: William and Robert Hinke; three sisters: Margaret Bell, Doris Shoffler & Janice Harron. A memorial service will be held Thursday 11a.m. at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., N. Wildwood, where friends may call from 10 a.m. Interment is private. Donations in memory of Jack to the Alzheimer's Assoc., S. Jersey Chapter, 11000 Lincoln Drive, Marlton, N.J. 08053 would be appreciated.
