A visit with Tony and Joanne was always the highlight of our NJ travel. I have fond memories of those days in the 80's and am so sorry to learn of Tony's passing.

My dad was a very good friend of Tonys. When I first met uncle Tony I was a very little boy. Some of my favorite memories were when my dad would take me fishing at the marina. I also liked visiting him at the t-shirt shop, he always got me a shirt to take home, he was such a kind man. Uncle Tony wasn't my real uncle, but it didn't matter, that's what I called him. When I found out the news I felt so bad for his friends and family, a great man was no longer with us. A week before I heard the news, a woman came into my work wearing a shirt that said, "The Great White Shark, Cape May, NJ". I have never seen a person in Virginia Beach with one of those on. I think it was more than a coincident. Tony will be greatly missed and I'm honored I had the pleasure of meeting such a kind hearted person.

What a great cousin Tony was. Growing up, I was so excited to hear Tony was coming to town because that meant I would get some more cool posters. I use to show off my room which was decorated with artwork from Tony. He was a great artist. My heart goes out to Evelyn, Joanne and Little Joanne. What a great loss. We are praying for God's strength to see you through this difficult time. Love, Mark Burnup

Dear Joanne, Little Joanne & Aunt Evelyn:
We are so deeply saddened by Tony's passing. I can remember when we were younger you and Tony stopping to see us on your trips between Atlantic City & Florida. We always had great times at the family reunions when we all got together.
That seems like a life time ago. He was always so much fun to be around and always happy. I remember as a kid looking up to you and Tony and thinking how cool you two were. You were different (which was a good thing) from the rest of the family.
I respected you both so much. You are hard workers and family was always so important to you.

You all have experienced a lot of grief in the last year with Michael and with Aunt Evelyn's health. I'm sure this put many more responsibilities on you and Tony.

Our hearts are deeply sadden by this.
We love you all so very much and our thoughts and many prayers are with you. God will never leave you alone.

We love you all:

Aunt Lois, Glenn, Pat, Chris & Crystal,
Jamie, Justin, Cayden & Addison.
