It is with great sadness that I learned of Jean's passing. I sat next to her at the City Council meetings in Estell Manor for many, many years. We kept each other sane. She was a mentor and a dear friend whom I will never forget. She taught me how to be a better city solicitor and a better person. I admired her for how she always seemed to be able to quietly keep us all on the right path. She was a woman of great knowledge and integrity. Things were never the same after she retired. Unfortunately I will not be able to be present for the services so that I can renew old friendships and share the wonderful memories we all have of Jean. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
