7 Aug, 2023. I saw this obituary today for the first time. I remember Bob from Junior High School in Pleasantville. My family lived in Pleasantville for on year back in the 60's when my father went to Vietnam. Bob was a good friend. I remember him as that muscular kid who was a sprinter, and the only one who could beat me during our PE Classes. I will always remember him from those days and It's sad to find that he passed away at such a young age. My condolences to his family, and may God bless him in heaven.

Dear Jackie:
What a beautiful homegoing service for Bob. Your words of love, and your singing brought tears to my eyes. I am sure Bob realized how truly blessed he was to have had you as his wife. You are a woman of great faith and virtue. May God continue to be with you.

To my cousins,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know there are no words right now that you really want to hear, but just know Bobby loved you all dearly and wants you to keep smiling.

My sympathies are extended to my first cousins, Walt, Darrly, Kenny, Cynthia, Brenda and Roberta for the lost of Bobby their brother and my first cousin, but yet he was like my brother too. Sympathies are extended to his wife Jackie and remaining children as well. The legacy of my cousin Bobby will always remain dear in my heart and your heart. I will always remember Bobby for his vibrant nature, extremely good looks, (handsome) and quiet demeanor. Please remember God is smiling on Bobby today, and that Bobby always had a smile on his face even to the very end. Although his mortal body no longer lives his spirit lives on in all of us through his aura he exhibited in this universe. Remember to place your faith in Christ and that there is no sorrow that Heaven cannot Heal. The healing rays of God's love, mercy and sunshine fall upon you all during this time of sorrow. I hope you will find comfort and strength in these words of encouragement. Love your cousin Miki

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

TO MY FAMILY,

I'M REALLY SORRY FOR OUR LOSS AND THE FACT THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE THERE IN PERSON TO SAY MY LAST GOODBYE, BUT IT'S FINE. BECAUSE I PLAN TO SEE HIM AGAIN WHEN I MAKE IT TO HEAVEN.

I JUST WANNA SAY TO COUSIN JEAN, CYNTHIA, BRENDA, DARRYL, LENNY AND KENNY AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY THAT MY HEART IS WITH YOU ALL. JUST KNOW THAT HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW. HE IS NO LONGER SUFFERING, AND WE WILL ALL BE REUNITED WITH HIM IN DUE TIME. THIS IS JUST A TEMPORARY GOODBYE. MORE LIKE A SEE YOU LATER. I LOVE YOU ALL!!
