Leonard Earling Obituary

EARLING, LEONARD W. (LENNY) 45 - of Atlantic City, passed away on November 12, 2008 in the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center where Lenny was ushered by his Angel to meet the Lord and Maker. Lenny worked for Kline Construction Co. in Galloway Township. Lenny loved his job and he would work anytime, any day with his family of brothers at Klines. He had a love for everyone who crossed his path and everyone loved him back. Most of all he had a great love for the Lord, family and friends. He loved the outdoors, riding his bike on the boardwalk, going to the beach with his sister Jessica whom she called her beach buddy. He also enjoyed the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. We will always have good memories of Lenny camping with his family and friends on summer weekends. Lenny was predeceased by his father Gerald Earling, grandmother Mary Flanagan Campbell, aunt Patty Flanagan and nephew Keith Kilburn. He is survived by his devoted mother Mary Flanagan Earling, stepfather James Tindaro, sisters Patricia Vaughn (David), Cindy Kilburn and Jessica Tindaro Sorshek (Bill), niece Jessica Foley, nephews William and Justin Sorshek, David Joshua and Nicholas Kilburn and Jose Bongcas. They all called each other Bro. Lenny will be missed greatly by his co-workers, friends and most of all by his family. Rest in Peach Lenny until we meet again - Mom. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, NJ 08201 with burial to follow in Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville, NJ. I worked with Lenny for about a year at Kline. Because I've since moved away, I just found out he passed. I knew Lenny to be a kind, gentle soul who would gladly give you the shirt off his back. My heart goes out to his family and friends, particularly his mother, who he loved very much and spoke of often.

To the family of Lenny, please except my condolences on your lost. Lenny was an amazing person and friend. He is also the god father of my son Howie. He often stopped over to visit with us during the summer and we would talk about everything. He will be missed muchly. We now have another guardian angel watching over us all. Rest in piece Lenny. We love you

Mary and Family

Working with Lenny for so many years at Evergreen leaves me with very fond memories, jet skiing, cuttting out of work early sitting at the lake, playing softball for the Kennedy's league and hanging at the nest. He will be greatly missed by us and his Godson Steven JR. He will always live in our memories.
