Robert Myers Obituary

MYERS, ROBERT, 86 - of Millville passed away on Saturday afternoon in the SJH Reg. Med. Ctr., Vineland after an extended illness. Mr. Myers was born in Philadelphia and moved to South Dennis as a young boy where he was a longtime resident prior to moving to Vineland in 1960. He was the son of the late Mary (Rahl) & Harvey Myers. He was pre deceased by his sister, Carolyn Myers & son Robert H. Myers. Before retiring, Bob was employed as an electrician with the Kerr Glass Co. in Millville and had previously worked at Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps. Bob was a member of the V.F.W. Post #157. He was a longtime member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Sea Isle City, and was also a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Vineland. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Fredda E. (Kendall) Myers, Millville; son: Bruce L. & wife Donna Myers, Hazlet; step son: Samuel Clifford & wife Judy Supgeon, Sherill; step daughter: Sandra & husband Angelo Pastore, Vineland; two grandchildren. A memorial funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Friday November 23, 2007 in the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private in the Union Cemetery, South Dennis. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361.
