I have many fond memories of Ms. Madeline dating back to the Rhode Island Avenue/Madison Ave. School days. She had a sweet smile, kind disposition, and nurturing manner that she shared with her "other daughter(s)." I will miss seeing her once a year to get my "Monique Update." My love and prayers to the family.

To Bobby and Family:
Ms. Martin was a beautiful and loving human being. I will always remeber the time she made me some fresh lemonade in the summer 2002 when I was pregnant. It was the best lemonade I ever had. She will be missed dearly. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Lillian Gonzalez-Cross

My deepest sympathy to the Martin Family. I have known Ms. Madeline for a really long time and as always she kept me laughing. I will miss her shouting in church and praising God. Her favorite song was "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus" when she heard that song she praised God to the fullest with all the energy she had. She loved ice cream and baked goods and boy her seafood salad was great!! These are the memories that will stay with me forever. She passed so peacefully and I am so blessed to have known her
