Dear Family of Laoma Hasson,
She was one of my closest childhood friends. A witty bright fun loving loyal friend. We shared many fun happy times in High School together. Living in California, I didn't see her too often after we got married but her door was always open to me when we came to Margate to visit.
We both were in each other's wedding and I will always remember her as a special "Margate" friend.

I have fond memeories of Laoma at Richmond Ave. school. Her claim to fame when we were small was that she could easily pull out her beautiful blonde hair. When she moved away Sandy and I missed her so we rode our bikes all the way to her house. She was a very nice young lady.

I was so blessed to be part of her life for the past 35 years. Mrs. Hasson leaves a tremendous imprint of my life. Her home was always open to me. She passed her generousity on to us as kids, encouraging charity through events such as M.S. fair in the yard. She really was a kid at heart. We worked with tennis on in the background and we loved balancing pears on top of apples and screaching at the site of a mouse! Working along side her in the old Segal bldg and then in Linwood, provided laughs galore! Her sarcastic wit never missed a beat (til the very end!!) I love you Mrs. Hasson I wish we could have enjoyed more of "paradise" together--you were a mother to all of us!! I know that your strength will inspire all of the lives you've touched. Kel, find comfort in knowing how much your mom accomplished in her time with us and how much she passed aong. I'LL NEVER FORGET~di

Dear Kelley, Alex, and Kids,
I just wanted to let you know how truly sad and sorry I am to hear of your mom passing away. I know Kelley wrote the obituary and it really summed up what a great lady your mom was. I have many happy, fun memories of my Aunt Laye and have been reliving them in my mind frequently over the past days. Kelley wrote something I have also been thinking, Aunt Laye is at peace now. You guys and my Aunt Laye are in my thoughts and prayers!
Bless you all.
