Dearest Anne-I was so saddened to hear about Phil---I was suspicious because we hadn't seen him in group in a long time but I didn't want to believe that he wasn't doing well. Phil taught me so much-he was one of our earlier Members and I loved when he joined group. His sense of life was an incredible asset to others-I always use HIS concept of "firing one's doctor" when I try to explain that we should be happy with the medical care we are getting. PLease do not be a stranger to our Clubhouse. Our fondest regards and wish for peace, Petie Subin

Dear Ann,
Bobby and I were so sorry to hear about Phil. I remember the first time I met Phil. He was kind of quiet and unassuming, while you were all lit up with big smiles. It was amazing to watch you with all that energy and then to see Phil with that laid back, take it easy way he had. He was a gentle man who loved big. I hope that in the coming days and months, you will be able to remember the adventures, the smiles and the happy moments and know that he will be watching over you until you are together again. With our deepest sympathy,
Erin McAllister

Dear Ann & family,
On behalf of the staff, members, volunteers & board of directors of Gilda's Club South Jersey, I want to extend to you my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved Phil. I have so many great memories of both you & Phil at the clubhouse - everything from Wellness & Family & Friends Group to cooking & eating with us at Potluck Suppers. Phil was one of our very first members & we learned so much from his cancer experience, and from the loving way in which you cared for him. We will miss him very much, and we hope that you will continue to find support at Gilda's Club.
Love,
Erin
