Virginia P. Moss

MOSS, VIRGINIA P. - of Egg Harbor, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2007, at ARMC, Mainland Division. She was born in Hampton, SC, to the late Irvin and Anna (Wiggins) Robinson. Mrs. Moss had owned her own business in Egg Harbor where she resided for many years. After moving to Atlantic City, she worked at the Dennis Hotel, Holiday Inn, and was last employed at Resorts Hotel Casino where she retired. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Egg Harbor. A loving mother who always put her children first, she was a giving person who helped anyone in need, never looking for anything in return. Predeceased by her husband, Walter, and her son, Walter Irvin (Butch) Moss, she is survived by: her three daughters, Doris and her husband, Clifford Mays, of Egg Harbor, Geraldine Williams and Diane Shiggs, both of Atlantic City; two sisters, Ludy Mae West of Egg Harbor and Ruby Brown of Atlantic City; 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held 11AM Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City, where friends may call from 9AM. Burial in Egg Harbor City Cemetery.
