Rosina Zappulla Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Domenico and Grace D'Amico Zappulla, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Vincent (Pete) Zappulla, and a sister, Josephine Moxley.
Ms. Zappulla is survived by her brother, Sebastian (Buster) Zappulla and wife, Agnes of Petersburg; sisters, Lena Skelton and husband, Milton of Heathsville, and Martha Hawkins of Dinwiddie; a cousin, Sebastian (Subby) Zappulla and wife, Sigrun of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Catholic prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Petersburg. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Health Care Employee Involvement Committee. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF WORKING WITH ROSE AT ALLMANS BBQ. SHE ALWAYS WAS NICE AND HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR, SORRY TO HEAR OF HER PASSING.

I can never recall a time when I did not have "Aunt Rose" in my life, She is very well remembered by me and my family. I have very fond memories of her "hardy" laughter and smiling face. I am honored to be a Pallbearer for her memorial service.
