GWEN:
SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF MRS. EVERLEAN 'S .PLEASE KNOW THAT IF GOD BRING YOU TO IT HE'LL SURELY BRING YOU THROUGH IT. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TODAY AND ALWAYS. MY FONDEST MEMORIES ARE THE 4H GROUP WE HAD AND MRS. EVERLEAN HAD ME SEWING AND SHE TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY TO CUT THE PATTERN OUT OF COURSE I DIDN'T WAIT AND WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PIN IT TO BE SEWN, I HAD CUT IT OUT WRONG AND THE ONLY WAY WE COULD PIN IT WAS TO HAVE A WRONG AND A RIGHT SIDE OF THE JUMPSUIT TOGETHER.(A MESS) I GOT THE FUSSING OF MY LIFE. FROM THAT POINT ON SHE MADE ME PUBLIC SPEAK, TO THIS DAY I CAN'T AND WON'T SPEAK IN PUBLIC, BUT I CAN SEW. LOVE U GUYS

Hi Gwen and family, I have been a friend of your mother, and most of your family since elementary school when we first moved to Capron. Everlean was always a sweetheart of a person, always during what ever she could for others. I talked with Everlean about two weeks ago, she had just returned home from your house. We shared so much. She told me that she was going to start cooking for that Sunday's Homecoming service at church. She was always faithful to God in all she did.
I will truly miss her, but I know that God has everything in control now. She would want you and the family to keep your hands in His hands and everything will be alright. Everlean is with the Lord and she want you to trust Him as she did.
I am just a phone call away. My phone # is: 804-516-5023 (Cell) and 257-5822 (work).
Loving,
Joan Jackson

I am Everlean's cousin, Joan Green Jackson. My Dad, Roosevelt Green is her uncle. I just reconnected with Everlean after many years. In fact, we spoke in June. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a loving sweet person and I will miss her.
She will always remain in our hearts.

Gwen,
As your classmate and friend, I am sadden to hear of the passing of your mom. I was so excited to see and to talk with Ms. Everlean last August for a long time. She still had that brillant smile and heartwarming embrace.
I am with you in spirit and love.
