Theodore Pulliam Jr.

On Aug. 30, 2008, our Father called home His son, Theodore Pulliam Jr., "Junie," "Mr. Pittiful," as he was affectionately known, after a lengthy illness.

He was known for working on cars, but retired from Leete Tire & Auto, Petersburg, where he worked for 18 years.

He was born Aug. 17, 1949, to the late Mary and Theodore Pulliam Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Minnie A. Whittle-Bates.

He leaves to cherish his memories five children, devoted Tiffany Pulliam-Hunter, devoted Jennifer "Tracey" Jenkins, Elizabeth "Stacey" Thomas (Robert), Antonio Jackson and Demetrius; one brother, Casterduarl Pulliam (Lucy); five nephews, Larry Whittle, Johnny Whittle, Gale Whittle, Ted Whittle and Corey Pulliam; two nieces, Sandra Whittle and Monique Pulliam; eight grandchildren, Shavonta Cook, Jaheel Gill, Tykoi Turner, Deja Green, Tracey Jenkins, Robert Thomas Jr., Joshua Thomas and Kailah Thomas; one brother-in-law, William Bates; one aunt, Martha Pegram; best friends for over 40 years, Lester Clark; a host of family and friends, among the devoted friends, Rose Robertson, William Parham, Dr. Samuel Bush and Susie Mallory.

We would like to thank the Retreat Hospital of Richmond, Hospice of Virginia (Yellow Team), Leete Tire & Auto, Chakita Smith (goddaughter), Deliska Spain and Casper Grant for everything that you have done.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Tucker Funeral Home with Dr. Antonio A. Tucker officiating. Relatives and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2:45 p.m. The family may be contacted at (804) 431-6310 or (804) 720-6492.
