Reached the gates of heaven
Gentle Angel there
Gathering her children
In quiet peaceful prayer
All these souls have entered
Babies now in flight
Enter gates of heaven
Journey into light
As they enter heaven
Each one will appear
Youth and ageless beauty
Most magnificent premier
Special hearts are gathered
Families filled with pride
Waiting for their loved ones
As heaven's train arrives
Love to fill the magic
Of beauty in the sky
Everyone so filled with joy
All hearts will now reside
Castles filled with beauty
Gardens of heirlooms
So you will know the entrance
Where life will now resume
Friends and family gather
Before you glorious feast
God will come to dinner
Souls have found their peace.

What a comfort it is to know that, no matter what our situation is, God is always there for us to reach out to. He always seems to make a way where we can see no way, and He answers all our prayers, although sometimes it may not be in the way we expect. For this reason, we can be confident in saying that His peace will fill our hearts and minds as we go about our earthly duties each day.
I KNOW YOU ARE...
I know You are my Saviour ?
You've set me free from sin and shame ?
But only because I asked You to forgive
Will my life never be the same.
I know You are my Provider
And that You will supply my every need;
But only of my necessity,
Not my want and not my greed.
I know You are my Shepherd,
Who will keep me safe from harm,
And as long as I choose to follow You,
You will shelter me 'neath Your arm.
I know You are my sword and shield,
And my strong and mighty tower,
But I need to admit my weakness, Lord,
So You can reveal Your awesome power.
I know You are my well-spring of joy,
And You are the source of my peace,
And as long as I trust in You alone,
From fear and sorrow You'll bring release.
I know You are my all in all,
And I will follow no one but You,
And as I continue to walk in Your ways,
I know You will be just and true.
I know You are faithful and cannot lie,
And I can believe all the promises You made,
So forever I'll put my trust in You,
And from now on I'll not be afraid.

Would You Like A 'New Life'
You have the choice where you will be throughout
eternity.........Are you aware of that?
The Bible says in the book of John, chapter 3, this man
came to Jesus one night and they talked..Jesus told
him that a person cannot see the Kingdom of God,
unless he is 'Born Again'...
To become "Born Again' is a simple thing to do...
You must realize you are a sinner, and need a Saviour,
JESUS..
You have to want Him with all of your heart...Not just
your head, but your heart..You must be open to Him in
the very deepest part of your heart..
In the Bible, in the book of Romans
In chapter 10, verse 9, it says,
That if you confess with your mouth,
"Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from
the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your
mouth that you confess and are saved.
If you want to be 'Born Again' this is how you do it..
You simply ask Jesus to forgive you, and to come into
your heart, and life..
Thats it, He made it so simple that a child could
understand...
If you have asked Him, and meant it from your heart,
and with all your heart, go tell someone, or everyone.
Believe me you won't be able to keep quiet..You will
want everyone to know about it.. You will never be
the same, and you will never regret it...
You will want to get into the bible, and learn all about
the miracle that has happened to you..Be open, and ask
God to teach you...His word says that His Spirit will
teach us, and He does...It is also very important to get
into a Church that teaches
"JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION"
That is the TRUTH of God's word!
There will be lots of things that will follow
your salvation, but this is the beginning!
Don't ever let anyone tell you that the days of miracles
is over, because if you asked Jesus into your heart the
most wonderful miracle of all, has just happened to you..
You have been
BORN AGAIN, BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD..
Thank Him and Praise Him, because He alone is worthy!
There is a place I go to rest
At the feet of God
There is a place where I am blessed
At the feet of God
There are times when I am weak
At the feet of God
He knows my needs before I speak
At the Feet of God
He Knows my name my soul is claimed
At the Feet of God
Still The same oh, Praise his name
At the feet of God
There's safety from the raging storm.
At the feet of God
The love that keeps me from all harm
Is at the feet of God
A healing Power flows for me
At the Feet of God
His blood will cleanse and make me free
At the feet of God
Still the same oh praise his name
At the Feet of God.

His love is so embraceable,
His peace abides within.
For every burden that we have
The saviour helps us win.
He gives us His strength, and
Joy, to face another day.
For He is with us always,
Within our hearts to stay.
He walks with us through the Hard times
Within our lives.
He is here for every battle.
We know we will win the fight
No matter what we face
Nothing is to hard for us,for it
Is in Him we put all our trust
We are conquerors
In all that we do,
For it was on the cross He died
He did it for me and you.
Romans 10:9~10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Misty shades of pink and chartreuse
Peek out among the web of vines in view.
Hidden in the greenery are treasures to find.
Little garden helpers, statues of all kinds.
The entrance to this garden is almost hidden away.
Follow the maze of paths, that sometimes leads through gates
With a surprize around every corner, oh such beauties rare.
Roses of all species from the bushes and climbers there.
There are ferns upon ferns, ivies and hosta too.
Watch around every bend they'll be a surprize for you.
Azaleas in all colors you can imagian, grow so neat.
You feel as though you are in a magical place so sweet.
All the many fragrances permeate the air all around,
And you wonder to yourself, Is this an
Enchanted Garden I have found?
Along the way nestled between two trees,
You find a place to rest, an ornate garden bench,
To sit and reflect how you are blessed.
The gentle breeze rustles the foliage upon the majestic trees,
While sunbeams are filtered down through the leaves.
There still remains the moist dew drops overhead
As the wind blows gently, they rain down on the garden bed.
What a place of beauty God has created for you to enjoy.
It makes you thankful that you are there and so much more.
The Garden of Eden may have resembled this place,
Until disobedience changed the views, leaving disgrace.
I wish I could stay all day,
And take in every treasure.
Of all the beauties I behold and try to measure.
How beautiful Heaven must be for all of us that go,
Because this Enchanted Garden
Is the closest thing I know.
Genesis 2, parts of verses 8, 9, 10.
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden,
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow
every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden

If I could take your pain and set you free
I would gladly let my body reel
And in agony bend till there
Was nothing left for you to feel
If I could take your sorrow and set you free
I would gladly let my own heart sigh
And weep forever till there
Was nothing left for you to cry
If I could take your anger and set you free
I would gladly dash my head in haste
Against a stone till there
Was nothing left for you to hate
If I could take your fear and set you free
I would gladly put myself instead
In dangerous ways till there
Was nothing left for you to dread
If I could take your soul and set you free
I would gladly fly to Heaven's high
Or Hell's bottoms low till there
Was nothing left of my own life

My memory wanders way back when
As a young child getting to go
On long train rides to see My Grandma
I could hardly wait, I loved her so
We gathered there in masses it seemed
Sometimes coming from all around
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and more Cousins
Grandma getting busy, Grandpa just moseying around
She always said that he was just as slow
As Molasses moving around in a mason jar
Took all day to get him moving on his feet
But could tear up concrete behind the wheel of his old car
She always looked the same to me
One long white braid pinned in a bun up high
Never had her hair cut Grandpa said
He'd bury her with her silver pride
Long drab dresses, funny shoes and bonnets
Face and hands worn but soft and no part of her thin
Old since I knew her and if her skin had been dark
She could have been Aunt Jemima's twin
Her clothes weren't pretty I guess she knew
Cause she always wore that apron
To cover them I suppose, but it came
In mighty handy when a basket it become
I'd get to go with Grandma out to the hen house
And fill that apron basket full of eggs oh what fun
Then we'd fill it up again with string beans we'd picked
Then sit and snap and chat till all was done
Grandma was so brave and strong, she would chase
A chicken round and wring it's neck, chop off its head
While I squealed in delight as it took off running
Way down the road till it dropped down dead
That chicken would taste mighty good for dinner
With our string beans, nothing goes to waste here she said
Saving the feet and I'd watch as she pulled the feathers out
She'd make more new feather pillows for every bed.
I remember how plump and soft those pillows were
When I climbed up on her bed or had a pallet nap
But nothing compared to the softness and warmth
Of My Grandma's natural pillows as I sat upon her lap.

Jesus Brings Joy
Like the beauty of the dew on a rose
as it looks toward the morning sun,
Jesus brings joy to our hearts,
He's the Holy and Anointed One.
Each petal of a fragrant rose
is like a promise God has given,
The Lord brings joy to our lives,
He's our hope and reason for living.
Our hearts can safely trust in Him
the one who saved us from our sins,
Grace and forgiveness is found in our Savior
He's our Lord and Dearest Friend.
Yes, Jesus brings joy to our lives
with each new passing day,
It's such a blessing just to know
He's always with us, along life's narrow way.

Momma, I know I can’t be with you on this very special day,
but I hope you understand that my love still is sent your way.
I’ll envision you dressed so pretty with a smile upon your face
like when I’d put my arms around you and receive your warm embrace.
But I know you keep me tucked inside that precious heart of yours,
while you wait and watch for me to walk through heaven’s open door.
Do you still remember the special moments that we both have shared?
How the good times in our life far outnumbered those that were bad?
A year has gone and I’m reminiscing about events of many years ago,
wishing I could say once more, “Mom, I love you so!”
I never will forget your eyes shining with anticipation
as I proudly handed you my gifts at each celebration.
Small childish gifts, I think now, but you cherished every one
and praised me for my efforts when I was, oh, so young.
Now Momma, dear, I can afford the best gifts in the land
but no gift can ever take the place of holding to your hand,
or kissing you, or hugging you, or being by your side,
and so my heart is still saddened for the ache inside is wide.
I go up to the old house but it’s not the same without you there,
waiting for me to come home, with the big smile you used to wear.
There’s no laughter and no sweet voice to welcome me inside.
There’s no kiss, no hug, nor soft hand to wipe away tears that I cried.
There’s no pots of good food simmering on the old stove top
where I used to get a sample until you’d tell me to stop.
I miss you, Momma, so very much; this year has been so hard
and yet I have to face the fact that we have to be apart.
But by God’s grace I know someday we’ll meet on heaven’s shore
and, Mom, we’ll talk and laugh and embrace as before.
The tears I’ll shed will then be tears of happiness for me
as I sit down next to you and place my hand upon your knee.
I’ll listen to the story of what you’ve done since you arrived
and together we’ll praise Jesus as we live there side by side.
I love you, my dear Momma, and I look forward to that day
when all our family will be reunited as we come home to stay.
But until the time that Jesus calls me from this old world of pain,
I’ll keep holding to the promise that I’ll see you once again!

Lord, Mama’s Coming Home
‘O Lord Mama is coming home very soon I know.
Only when you hold her in your arms Lord, can I let her go.
She has been with me and we have shared all joy together
You, Lord, know how ill she is now; take her with You forever
She is dying Lord, and we want her to be in Your hand;
We want her to be there with Daddy, in Heaven’s land.
She is Mama. She will always be Mama to us all, but Thou will
Put Thy arms about her sweet Jesus; hold her against your breast still
Somehow I will know when she is gone and You have her; I’ll know it’s Your will.
She cannot go on much longer; as You said it’s time to let her go, still....
She was my foundation; my model; my rock in this old life to be,
Take her home under Thy wing Lord; please, no more strife, but Victory.
She helped us through life and to sort out troubles and mend,
All that was in our power, since I can’t even remember when.
She is in misery sweet Lord; please take it away from our Mother
She would sit and work or cook, as we were growing up like no other.
Bring the Holy Spirit upon both her and my sis and me
That will let us know without any doubt; she’s entering Eternity.
I’d like to hear her sing “Beulah Land“, and,
.......“I Want To Stroll All Over Heaven With You“.
If it’s Your will, Lord, give her comfort, a place to stroll all over Heaven too.
Carry us through this Lord; give comfort to her and me too
We have, and do love her with all our being; let her come on to You.
She’s the Mama whose lap we sat on; sometimes, Daddy’s too
They loved Thee Lord; loved each other; and they surely loved us true.
I know Father, You’ll give her crowns of life; Crowns of goodness and strength.
And I know Thou will remember her work, the work she did at length.
She is a mother among mothers; she kept all her family well, and will there too,
We know Heavenly Father her time will be with Thee there in all she can do...
Kiss her tears all away as though they never were at all.
Father, take her in Thine own hand and tell her You’ve come to call.

Fulfillment of the Word
Greater than those opposed to Him
Unthwarted by their hate
He stood with truth and dignity
Calling out their fate
Their legalistic righteousness
Impressed Him not at all
Their grand interpretations
Immuned them to His call
His message so simplistic
Their hardened hearts recoiled
They plotted to be rid of Him
Their anger fully boiled
Knowing well their evil plans
He showed no signs of fear
Continuing on His ministry
To bring Jehovah near
He spoke with true authority
Not heard of then or since
His truth exposing stubborn hearts
Their wounded egos winced
He was and is the King of Kings
Creator of all things
The Alpha and Omega
His Name all heaven sings
He came to earth a lowly man
Determined to draw near
All men whose hearts were seeking
Eternity with fear
He calmed the seas and stilled the storm
And bid the captor cease
His victory over death and grave
Bequeathed us our release
We're free to live to please Him
We're free to love again
We're free to humbly serve Him
We're free from guilt and sin
He gave to us all that we need
And freed us from the rest
So legal laws would not restrain
Or keep us from His best
All glory to our Jesus
His Name may each one tell
For He is God Eternal
With Him our soul is well
We need no more the rules of man
We need no law or creed
For in Him dwells the Godhead
His Word is all we need.

Today I picked roses for Mama,
Oh how she dearly loved them so --
She planted them oh so carefully
...and waited patiently for them to grow
As the summer approached, the blooms burst forth
Into vibrant colors of white, yellow, pink and red,
No, nothing on earth was prettier,
Than my Mama's colorful flower bed.
As the years passed by, the roses seemed to multiply
and put forth more and more beautiful blooms
Mama was so very proud of her roses,
She would give them to all in the neighborhood
They all looked forward to Mama's roses
And they admired them from year to year
With love and attention she tended them well
Each and every one to her was so dear.
Her roses are still blooming, with colors so bright
We care for them as if she were still here
I venture to say she would have taken them
To heaven on that bright sunny day.
I can just imagine her utter delight
When she walked thru the garden up there
Seeing the beauty of God's vibrant flower bed,
So lovely to view, and for all to share.
All bursting with colors; white, yellow, pink and red
Yes, they were there waiting for her delicate hand in glove,
They're all there waiting in the glorious garden of the
.......MASTER'S flower bed above.

MY SECRET GARDEN
I go into my secret garden
To dream and hope and pray;
The beauty of flowers found there
Almost takes my breath away.
The roses bloom profusely
All attended by busy bees;
The fragrance is so sweet
Spanish moss clings to trees.
I sit quietly on a bench
Around me the nature sounds;
I lean back and close my eyes
While such peace abounds.
God must have designed this place
Surely it is so close to paradise;
I feel as if I were floating
Heaven must be like this, I surmise.
We all need a secret garden
Where we can go when stressed;
To commune with God and nature
And come away feeling blessed.

Where The Flowers Never Fade
I love to walk in the garden
Inhaling the sweet scents that fill the air
Where the flowers bloom so lovely
As butterflies, dance with grace so fair
But with the years and seasons
The blooms come and go
It is then I look forward to springtime
For the flowers to bud and grow
There I sit in amazement
In what is held before my eyes
Sitting in the garden
My spirit soars and flies
When God finally calls me Home
When my soul is taken Heavens way
In the garden filled with love and peace
I will see the angels laugh and play
Where the sun shines so sweetly
Each and every day
It is there... I'll walk through the grandest garden
Where the flowers never fade

What you are in the sight of God,
-that you truly are.
It will not be easy to brainwash the heartwashed.
Be careful how you live; you may be
the only Bible some people ever read.
The Lord sometimes takes us into
troubled waters NOT to drown us,
but to cleanse us.
Better to let them wonder why
you didn't talk than why you did.
You cannot help men permanently
by doing for them what they could
and should be doing for themselves.
To speak kindly does not sting the tongue.
With God, nothing shall be impossible.
The best and most beautiful
things in the world cannot
be seen nor touched but are
felt with the heart.
God never closes one door without
opening another.
All I see teaches me to trust the
Creator for all I do not see.
The Christian on his knees sees
more than the philosopher on tiptoe.

NOBODY KNOWS BUT MOTHER
They talk of a mother's toil and care,
Of the tasks that her hands must do
Of the furrows that creep o'er the brow once fair,
Of the burdens and heartaches too.
But they know not the joy stitched in each little dress,
The pattering footsteps that brighten and bless,
The thrill of a baby's loving caress--
Ah, nobody knows but Mother.
They talk of her narrow and humble place,
The monotonous life she leads,
While others are learning and growing apace,
And doing such wonderful deeds.
But they know not the mystery deep that lies,
Hidden away in a baby's eyes,
And every day brings a fresh surprise,
That nobody sees but Mother.
There was never a task by the Father given,
That brought not its blessing too,
And the life that liest the nearest Heaven,
Was given, oh, Mother, to you.
The task is great, but the joy is sweet,
The hours of prayer bring a faith complete,
And the highest wisdom our life can meet,
Lies hid in the heart of a Mother.

Another loss in the family
has brought my mind back to
the First Time.
The First Time
you have to face life alone.
How frightening that prospect is,
no matter what your age!
The prayers of your friends
help you immeasurably.
These are my memories
of
The First Time
The first time
I face the sunrise alone,
or walk down paths all on my own,
or cry to the heavens of my misery.
I pray you will be
praying for me.
The first time
I have to watch our child cry,
and can't answer the question
when she asks me "WHY",
I'll lean on my Jesus, and ask HIM to be
Guiding my words, to assuage her agony.
I pray you will be
praying for me.
The first birthday, first holiday,
first feast of Thanksgiving,
scalding tears, or primal scream that comes unbidden,
Somehow, some way, I'll keep on living.
First night, when I miss you
More than I can withstand,
Finding alone is so REAL,
I finally, truly, understand.
I pray you will be
praying for me.
The Lord and His Holy Spirit
Will light the way
Of this mountain of 'lost love'
I must travel each day.
Jesus will be who I lean upon
when I get too tired, too old,
Then HE will carry me like that
escaped lamb from the fold.
I pray you will be
praying for me.
It's only The Lord's Love and yours
that eases this pain.
Death has caused me so much loss,
with so little to gain.
Yet Eternity can't hold
all the love we possess,
My joy has always been
In your happiness.
So as you walk with the Lord
and survey streets of gold
And hear choirs of angels,
see family, and friends untold,
Would you join hands with Jesus
and both of you agree?
I pray all will be
praying for me!

A LETTER TO JESUS
Dear Jesus I went down to the Altar today,
Knowing in my heart, You'd wash my sins away:
It filled my heart with wonder, as I confessed, I believe,
And into Thy Glorious Kingdom, my soul, Thou did receive.
Help me walk the path You set before me,
And the lightness of Thy Kingdom, let my heart see,
So I might go tell others, what befell me on that day,
As I received Thee into my heart, these words I had to say.
Help me my Lord to count my blessings, each and every day,
Thank Thee for the many wonders, in Thy Book You have to say,
About the road to salvation, how there's no other way,
Except through the name of Jesus, when we accept Him and pray.
Help me to tell others of Thy meekness, and share,
All the goodness of Thy Spirit, as we kneel down in Prayer:
Help me, my lantern to keep lit each day,
Which unto others will surely light the way.
Keep my candle glowing, so the darkness can't be near,
All brightness for my brethern, Thy sweet words to hear,
From now on 'til forever, on Thy bosom let me rest, with zeal,
As I know, when I claimed Jesus as Lord, my soul, Thou did seal.

Always There
I have lived so long with pain,
It rips and tears at my body,
Sharp and relentless,
I know
It will always be there.
I try to be strong,
I smile as expected,
But inside I'm breaking
Apart.
When you look at me,
All you see
Is the outside,
A shell,
My disability.
I hide the agony
Deep inside,
A body that betrays me,
And it will
Always be there.
But
I am a person just like you,
I laugh and love,
I cry and need,
When I'm cut
I bleed.
I wish it was easy
And wish it would change,
The world still thinks
I'm strange.
Sometimes in darkness,
I want to scream
At tired
Frustration's flame.
And then I want the world to know,
Deep down,
I am the same.

By My Grandmas' Knee
As I sit here looking back in memory, I can now so clearly see,
While she told us stories, us kids would sit by grandmas' knee,
We thought she was old-fashion, but we all loved her all the more,
Cause by her knee she'd teach us about Jesus and a beautiful shore.
She said it was the Lords' making, happy are we His servants to be,
How He died for our sins and believing in Him, Heaven we'd see,
Sometimes we'd think she wore funny clothes, but deep inside,
I always knew grandma loved us at heart, we just had too much pride.
She would tell the story of her Ma and Pa, how a log cabin they lived in,
And as she grew up, she to thought they were strange until she let Christ in.
She sat at her Ma's knee and heard the stories of Jesus, just the same as we,
You see things may alter and change but the same Jesus will always be.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow is what she told us about Him one day,
No matter what we wear, or how we talk, I learned at her knee to pray.
She taught us many things, to cook, clean house and to sew,
But about the Lords' work and loving Him, taught us most of what we know.
She taught us not to just read, but to do as our precious Lord said,
So every night we'd feel guilty if we didn't kneel beside our bed.
Now it's my turn, I'm an old grandma to, so to mine I have to be,
Just as Grandma and tell the things she told us, as we sat beside her
knee.

A Letter to Mama
Mama, I went to your grave today
To lay some pretty flowers there,
But as I looked around upon the ground
I couldn’t see you anywhere.
Then I looked up high into the sky
And I could see you everywhere.
Walking softly with our Savior
On the streets He paved with gold,
Picking fruit from Heavens’ tree,
Waiting for us to join the fold.
Wait for us sweet gentle Mother,
Keep us in your sweet Holy Prayer,
Hence one day I know we’ll come
And then we’ll be together there.

Help me, oh my Lord to strive to run the race, to be bold in grace,
For Thy sake all the day, all the way to see Thy face,
The beauty there, in Heaven fair, run to win the prize
Of the high calling of such a one so wonderfully, wise.
May I not leave undone, I Pray, my chore from Heavens’ shore,
Which I was called to do for our Savior forevermore,
He is my guide, my joy and pride; He is my own first love,
He knew me before I was; I was destined from above.
In my mind I can see the Saints’ there in Heaven fair,
Walking softly on the road, He paved with gold up there;
He will call me in that morning when my time is o’er,
So may I run the race ‘til I’m face to face with Him, on that golden shore?
He waited patiently for me; I know this is His loving way,
To give every chance to me, lets mine eyes the beauties see, every day,
My life’s not long; it’s but a moment here today, so I run the race,
For the prize of the high calling, my soul to be filled with grace.
Bring me home dear Lord, when my work here on earth is truly done,
‘Tis far better to be in Thy Kingdom when this race is won,
I have loved ones there with You Lord, waiting patiently to see,
My crown of love from above, which I know my Savior, will present to me.

On a Sunday morning she was ailing, so very weak;
I knew the time was near, for the Angels, her soul to seek,
Mama, go to the light, It’s Jesus you know,
When you see the Light, just yield and to Him go.
I know you can’t talk to me now, you’re at the great gate,
Where the Angels will carry you, where Jesus doth await,
Go to Him Mama, I can’t stand to see you suffer this way,
Just wait for me, when it’s my time, I’ll see you again in that day.
Just look to the light Mama, He’s the Way the Truth and the Light,
And I believe it’s about time, I think He’ll send for you tonight,
Goodbye for now little Mama, I’ll see you again one glorious day,
When our Savior sends for me too, to come there and stay.
Forever and ever, no more tears, heartache or pain,
Just the blessed joy of being there with Jesus and you and Dad again,
To walk the streets of gold, pick fruit from the glorious tree,
There in Heaven, nothing but gladness and joy, evermore to be.
You and Dad keep watch for us, maybe meet us at the gate,
It seems so wonderful just to think about, at times I can hardly wait,
But He will decide when I will come to this beautiful place,
Then we will be together again, all of us will be with Jesus, face to face.

I’m so glad to say, I know my debt is paid, wiped away that day,
By the living Savior, whom I met at the Altar, I can gladly say,
He gave my life new meaning, as he beacons for me to come away,
To the new found freedom, in the safety of His love today.
For He’s the living Savior, who walked the shores of Galilee,
Taught and preached about the glories to come, that we may see,
How He was crucified upon an old rugged Cross, that fateful day,
So with Him into His Glorious Kingdom with the Father, we might stay.
Someday we’ll meet Him there in Glory, when this life here is o’er,
Partake in His blessings on that sweet Heavenly shore,
Where the streets are paved with gold, which is as pure as our Saviors’ heart,
For there in His glorious Kingdom with Him, we’ll never have to part.
There will be a new Heaven and a new earth; we do so Praise His name,
For all the wonder of His blessings and for the Father just the same,
Who gave us His only Son to hang upon that old Cross, my debt is paid,
He loved me that much and all others to, who will accept the sacrifice He made.
He’s Lord of Lord and King of Kings. His word will never fail you,
He’s the Bright and Morning star; He’ll be with you in all the good you do,
He paid out debt and will fight for us, fight Satan and His evil ways,
He paid our debt, so we might be with Him all our lasting days.

How beautiful are the feet upon the mountain,
which doth good tidings bring,
That publishes peace that publishes salvation
and saith unto Zion, thy God reign.
The watchman shall agree when the Lord shall
again bring Zion, His people free,
Redeemed and shall sing of joy and gladness,
for they shall see and agree.
All ends of the earth shall see the salvation
of our God, break forth and sing,
Be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord,
let Thy praises ring.
Unto His ear, that He may know we love Him so,
this Christ our King,
And tho He shall grow as a tender plant out
of the ground, His praises let us sing.
He was rejected, had sorrow, was acquainted
with grief and was not esteemed,
Despised and rejected, no beauty,
yet many nations by Him shall be redeemed.
He carried our sorrows; we esteemed Him stricken,
our sorrows He hast borne,
Smitten by God, wounded for our transgressions,
dear Jesus we do for Thee mourn.
All You did for our chastisement, yet all like sheep
have turned and gone astray,
Yet all the iniquities were laid on Thee my Lord,
as all turned his own way.
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet opened
not His mouth to say a word,
He was taken from prison and judgment, the
sweetest story ever to be heard.
His grave was with the wicked, with the rich in
death, for no violence had He done,
How beautiful are the feet upon the mountain,
who brought good news from this one.
Tho the Lord made His soul an offering for sin,
He shalt see His seed of plenty,
And by the knowledge of the righteous,
bearing iniquities, shall justify many.

God Must Have Known
God must have known there would be times
I'd need a word of cheer
Someone to praise a triumph
Or brush away a tear.
He must have known I'd need to share
The joys of "little things"
In order to appreciate
The happiness life brings.
I think he knew my troubled heart
Would sometimes throb with pain
At trials and misfortunes
Or some goals I cannot attain.
He knew I'd need the comfort
Of an understanding heart
To give me strength and courage
To make a fresh, new start.
He knew I'd need companionship
Unselfish...lasting...true,
And so God answered my heart's great need
With a CHERISHED FRIEND....like you.
Everyone who knew and loved you will forever hold you dear to them. You were a great Christain friend..

All too soon another life will end,
when we have to say goodbye to a loved one or a friend.
There is no way for us to ever prepare,
to find out someone we love, will no longer ever be there.
We feel deep sorrow when they depart,
always holding a loving and special place within our heart.
Remembrances linger of a loving face,
wonderful times we shared together, which we can’t replace.
But there is always the warm comfort too,
God helps everyone of us through everything we must do.
In times of trouble and times of grief,
God always answers our prayer for needed spiritual relief.
Other times when we feel we cannot go on,
we can rely upon our Savior through each night until dawn.
God stays on duty twenty four times seven,
to answer your call or prayer, from His throne in Heaven.
Know in your heart you can count on Him,
if down on your knees and your life seems hopeless and dim.
When it is your time to say a final goodbye,
and your heart is completely breaking and all you can do is cry.
God will reach and take you in His embrace,
wiping each hurt from your heart and tear from your face.
Over time God will help to ease your pain,
giving you strength to remember your loved one and laugh again.
God promised us always everlasting love,
to eternally keep vigil over His children from Heaven above.
So, when you too must say a final goodbye,
it’s alright to grieve for a loved one, God is always standing by.

I watched the lights grow dim,
from inside the church the sounds of a magnificent hymn.
Angels gathered together to sing,
the true meaning of Christmas and the joys it should bring.
Words tell of Jesus Christ birth,
and of gifts and treasures of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Three Magi come from lands afar,
arriving at the manger following the path of a heavenly star.
Over mountains and through the fields,
not exactly sure what their long journey would finally yield.
Not bothered with coldness this night,
falling down in joyous praise to worship and behold the sight.
In the manger created from hay,
angels spoke to the shepherds where baby Jesus would lay.
Mary looking with eyes of love,
at her child a gift, for all of mankind, from the heavens above.
Growing both in spirit and mentally,
the grace of God filled this child; this was easy for all to see.
Yearly trips for worship and prayer,
a voyage when Jesus was twelve filled His parents with despair.
Returning to Jerusalem from Galilee,
Jesus was missing His parents wondered where He could be.
Finding Jesus was not that simple,
finally finding Him with the priests and scribes at the temple.
Studying amidst all the teachers there,
amazing them with questions and answers, being truly aware.
Jesus would soon administer and preach,
spreading gospel to every living soul He could possibly reach.
His crucifixion day any hope gone,
Mary cradled the body of her dead son completely all alone.
Our Savior paid the ultimate price,
His life was the cost, please, never forget His real sacrifice.

I think of you everyday
All the things you use to do and use to say
When I pass your place
I wish I could see your smiling face
It seems so unreal to me
I know it's life but I still can't see
Why this happened to you
God knows what he should do
Maybe doing it will open eyes
Stopping young people from drinking and telling lies
I saw you lying there
All I could do was cry and stare
You were so beautiful, but to me it wasn't you
I wasn't used to seeing you the way I had to
When I saw you I couldn't breathe
And I could feel a tremble in my knees
Wanting to touch your hand
Seeing you lie there was all I could stand
So I turned and walked away
Knowing that never again will I see your face
Except in the pictures that you once took
And even then I can't give a second look
You left behind something so beautiful and sweet
A son that will always remind me
Of the person who made this perfect little bundle of joy
He looks exactly like you, your little boy
I know you love him with all your heart
A bond that will never break apart
I know you watch him everyday
Making sure that from danger, he will stay away
Why did this happen to you
It still seems so untrue
you were the guy who was always around
The one who wanted to be the clown
You own half of my heart
When you left I was torn apart
I know if you could have stayed you would
And you would have done everything you could
To see your baby grow into a man
And to help him out all that you can
I know now you are home
But I still wish you wasn't gone.........

There's a whistle up in heaven,
and it wasn't there before.
And all the angels heard it
when you knocked on Heaven's door.
Now Heaven is a better place
than what it was before,
and our lives are less without you...
now and forever more.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times, and laughing times, and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry
before the sun of happy memories I leave when life is done.

Please don't sing sad songs for me,
Forget your grief and fear,
For I am in a perfect place
Away from pain and tears...
It's far away from hunger
And hurt and want and pride,
I have a place in Heaven
With the Master at my side.
My life on earth was very good,
As earthly life can go,
But Paradise is so much more
Than anyone can know...
My heart is filled with happiness
And sweet rejoicing, too.
To walk with God is perfect peace,
A joy forever new.

Fly away to the angels,
fly away and be free.
Let your soul be at peace now;
will you look down on me?
Are you numb or alone,
can you hear when I speak?
Are you happy or sad,
do you feel, do you see?
I can't understand
how it was for you.
Were you scared, did you cry?
Now I'm crying, too.
It was just yesterday-
you entered my mind.
I wondered how you were,
I remembered our times...
You could have come to me,
though I'm sure you didn't know.
I would have been there,
tried to soften the blow.
I can't believe that you're gone,
I read all your old letters.
You were sweet, loving, and kind,
And that's what I'll remember.
So fly away to the angels,
fly with them and be free.
Let your soul be at peace now,
don't forget about me.

God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
Get well on Earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace by Thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

I sit at the desk and wonder
when was the last time
I sat here and
you were waiting in the other room.
The days have grown longer,
hours seem to never pass,
and I haven't moved since you have been gone.
I am staring out the same window,
looking over the quiet rural countryside.
What used to look so peaceful and wonderous,
is now lonely.
I am listening to the sounds of the house,
the ticking of a distant clock,
the dripping of the faucet you never got around to fixing,
and missing the sounds of the sports channel.
I am feeling the warmth of this house
we bought together,
with our last dollar and our good credit,
and tonight it feels so cold.
You were in my life,
and times were great,
conversations were full and laughter was loud,
but now there is silence.
There is a feeling,
that is often said in cliche,
but is true every time I utter;
"my friend, I am missing you."

Of Roses and Thorns
A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully.
Before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw a bud that would soon blossom.
He also saw the thorns, and he thought,
"How can any beautiful flower come from a plant,
burdened with so many sharp thorns?"
Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose,
and before it was ready to bloom, it died.
So it is with many people ...
Within every soul ... there is a Rose.
The "G-d-like" qualities planted in us at birth,
growing amidst the thorns of our faults.
Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.
We despair, thinking nothing good can possibly come from us.
We neglect to water the good within us,
and eventually it dies.
We never realize our potential.
Some don't see the rose within themselves ...
It takes someone else to show it to them.
One of the greatest gifts a person can possess ...
is to be able to reach past the thorns and find the rose within others.
This is the truest, most innocent, and gracious characteristic of love -
to know another person,
including their faults, recognize the nobility in their soul,
and yet still help another to realize they can overcome their faults.
If we show them the rose, they will conquer the thorns.
Only then will they blossom,
and most likely, blooming thirty, sixty, a hundred-fold,
as it is given to them.
Our duty in this world is to help others,
by showing them their roses and not their thorns.
It is then that we achieve the love we should feel for each other.
Only then can we bloom in our own garden.

If Only You Could See
I know you're feeling sad today
because I had to go.
I know you have so many things
that remind you of me so.
And though you cry as you recall
the times you spent with me.
I know your pain would turn to joy
if only you could see.
I'm in Heaven with Jesus now.
We laugh, we sing, we play.
He holds me gently in His arms.
I know no pain today.
And though we're apart for a little while,
Jesus has promised me
He'll someday bring you here
where we'll live for eternity.

Am With You Always
As you hold me close in memory,
Even though we are apart,
My spirit will live on,
There within your heart...
I am with you always.
When you lean on trusted friends
And their caring hugs enfold you,
Within their loving arms,
I'll be there to hold you...
I am with you always.
And beyond the far horizon
When we'll finally be together
Where love will be eternal,
And life will last forever...
I am with you always.

"For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, And a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace."

Love is patient; love is kind.
Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way: it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
And now faith, hope, and love abide,
and the greatest of these is love.

A mother is a friend on whom you can depend,
she makes you feel you are never alone.
She has a very special way of cheering up a day,
and looks upon your problems as her own..
She shares your every dream and adds to your esteem.
She helps you and does favours, big and small.
She cares with all her heart she has loved you from the start
A mother is the dearest friend of all.

I've watched
the wonderful ways
you've made life special
for our family...
the moments of love
and laughter,
the traditions
and memories
we'll carry with us
throughout our lives.
But most of all
I've watched the way
you've shown us
the true meaning of love
in everything you do.
You have made us who we are and for that we will forver love you.We know that you are in God arms and that Dad was so glad to see you. Watch over us from day to day and one day we will see you once again....YOUR CHILDREN

The moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
The birds never sing but a message they bring
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
Just to bring back the time, that was so sweet to me,
Just to bring back the days, when I sat on her knee.
I pray every night to our Father above,
For that wonderful mother of mine.
I ask Him to keep her as long as He can
That -- wonderful mother of mine.
There are treasures on earth, that made life seem worthwhile,
But there's none can compare to my mother's smile.
You are a wonderful mother, dear old Mother of mine.
You'll hold a spot down deep in my heart,
'Till the stars no longer shine.
Your soul shall live on forever,
On through the fields of time.
For there'll never be another to me,
Each melodious measure,
Oft the teardrops flowing,
Oft they flow from my memory's treasure.

this is what I see;
A happy smiling grandma
doing lovely things for me.
Your eyes are soft and knowing
as you sideways glance my way.

than a grandmother's special love,
she always seems to know the things
that we are fondest of.

The majesty of a tree
The warmth of a summer sun
The calm of a quiet sea
The generous soul of nature
The comforting arm of night
The power of the eagles flight
The joy of a morning spring
The faith of a mustard seed
The patience of eternity
The depth of a family need
Then God combined these qualities
And then there was nothing more to add
He knew his masterpiece was complete
And so he called it...Mother.

Family
There's a special kind of closeness
that only families know,
that begins with childhood trust
and deepens as you grow.
There's a special kind of happiness
in sharing little things,
the laughter, smiles, and quiet talks
that daily living brings.
There's a special kind of comfort
in knowing your family's there,
to back you up, to cheer you up
to understand and care.
Of all the treasures life may bring,
your family means the most.
And whether near or far apart,
that love will hold you close.

Grandmothers are mothers who are grand,
Restoring the sense that our most precious things
Are those that do not change much over time.
No love of childhood is more sublime,
Demanding little, giving on demand,
More inclined than most to grant the wings
On which we fly off to enchanted lands.
Though grandmothers must serve as second mothers,
Helping out with young and restless hearts,
Each has all the patience wisdom brings,
Remembering our passions more than others,
Soothing us with old and well-honed arts.

sit beside you, Mom
On death’s doorstep you lay
I set my head upon your wrist
As I bow my head to pray
The world to me shut off
The silence here is thick
Alone just you and I
And your watch’s rhythmic tick
I block out all my pain
And loss I’m sure to feel
I concentrate now deeply
On the tick your watch reveals
I sit here now for days
And hear the rhythmic sound
I contemplate you being gone
The thought now seems profound
The time for you is near
To enter Heaven’s Gate
I’ll stay here by your side
Until your journey is complete
It’s months now since you’ve passed
My wounds are healing slow
I want so much to hear your voice
To see your smile’s glow
I lay my head upon my wrist
When my feelings are too strong
I hear your watch’s rhythmic tick
And know you’re never gone

It stalks the night
It stalks the day
It seeks out life
And whisks it away
It's known as death
And other things too
But it's all the same
What matters is you.
How do you see it?
What does it mean?
It's best if you know
For death is unseen.
It can take you at day
It can take you at night
Knowing death well
Can lend you some light
The passage to death
Is always unclear
And it's best to know
That you're very near.
For death is at hand
It is for us all
Know it's face well
So you don't stumble and fall
Now think hard on death
And know that it's near
And the meaning of life
Will be all to clear
And that is to live
For your hearts desire
Not to stumble or fall
But to burn with a fire.
A fire for life
To live for each day
To reach for your dreams
No matter what people say
Life is a question
And death holds a clue
Reach not for the answer
For your life's not due
Live for the moment
And die for it too
For it's the moment that counts
It, and you
Now I'm all done
I've said what I'll say
Just remember one thing
Live for the day!

think about the old homestead
The place where I was raised.
The dusty roads so long ago
Oh, how I miss those days.
The golden sunsets on the farm
The scent of fresh cut hay.
The rippling fields of corn so green
Would take my breath away.
Lazy days of summer bliss
A stroll down wooded lane.
A canopy of stars at night
The smell of country rain.
The precious home where I grew up
Has crumbled to the ground.
Nothing left but barren weeds
Where once, my life was found.
No mother left to fill the void
Of things that used to be.
The one I cherished in my heart
Is now a memory.
On Mother’s Day next to her grave
The years just melt away.
Her lovely face, I can now see
She holds a sweet bouquet.
Thoughts of home just disappear
Oh, hear Hosanna sing!
My mother dwells in Beulah land
She’s wearing angel wings.

When my journey here is run
When I see my Savior's face
And I hear Him say, "Well done".

And my child you've kept the faith.
Enter now my joy; our joy.
Won't you step inside the gate?"
Inside the gate, inside the gate

It's our home, sweet home
No more to cry, no more to die
A crown of life you've won
Your favorite band, your father's hand.
Your mansion near forever more.
It's all up here, I'll hear Him say,
When I step inside the gate.

Life is a garden, good friends are the flowers,
and time spent together – life’s happiest hours.
And Friendships, like flowers, bloom ever more fair
when carefully tneded by dear friends who care

What We Share
When we share laughter,
there’s twice the fun;
When we share success,
we’ve surpassed what we’ve done.
When we share problems,
there’s half the pain,
When we share tears,
A rainbow follows rain.
When we share dreams,
They become more real,
When we share secrets,
it’s our hearts we reveal.
If we share a smile,
That's when our love shows,
If we share a hug,
That’s when our love grows,
If we share with someone
On whom we depend,
That person is always
“Family” or “A Friend”.
And what draws us closer
And makes us all care
Is not what we have,
But the things that we share.

WELCOME HOME
Welcome home, dear soul, welcome home,
To the place God wants you to be,
Prepared for you a long time ago,
Your place for eternity.
Down through the years God watched you,
He claimed you before you were born,
You were molded, guided, and taught,
Through His love you grew and were formed.
He gave you a good life on earth,
And saw that your needs were met,
He gave you fair shares of sadness and mirth,
And gave up His Son for your debt.
God counted each hair on your precious head,
And he planned in advance all your years,
He knew each day what lay ahead,
And He was aware of your prayers and tears.
Though you've left your loved ones behind,
It's just in a physical way,
And now you'll be closer to them,
In a more wonderful, spiritual way.
A banquet's been spread in your honor,
God is the Heavenly Host,
The guests are those gone before you,
That on earth you had missed the most.
Welcome home, dear soul, welcome home,
Tell your family and friends not to grieve,
You're welcomed now at your Father's throne,
Totally whole and pain free.

I SURRENDER
Lord, help me, I'm sinking,
I fear I may drown,
I need you, my Father,
Don't let me go down.
I'm floundering; I'm slipping,
My grip is no good,
I can hang on no longer,
The way that I should.
Don't let me go, Father,
Please hang on to me,
Though my grasp may have weakened,
Don't let me slip free.
I still love you, Father,
But my strength has been drained,
I want to be held,
And relieved of my pain.
Please take over my life,
My battle is done,
I fully surrender,
You've totally won.

GRIEF
Relief from grief comes when we weep,
And loving arms surround us,
But sometime grief's so very deep,
There seems no help around us.
There can come a sorrow,
So shocking and profound,
That tears are not allowed to flow,
But instead, are inside bound.
The eyes are dry; the body's chilled,
The soul is all but drained,
The gnawing emptiness one feels
Is an indescribable pain.
One reaches an exhausted state,
The skin is cold like ice,
No form of warmth can penetrate,
The heart seems held within a vise.
Sleep, sleep - most blessed sleep,
God's balm to help man cope,
Awake, awake - acceptance, peace,
Eternity - man's hope.

GOD'S FLOWERS
Men and flowers both develop,
In accordance with God's scheme,
From tiny buds of promise,
Into mighty blooms supreme.
Side by side, within life's garden,
Men and flowers grow with grace,
They share their essence and their spirit,
To make the world a better place,
How magnificent each flower,
Its beauty so complete,
And how magnificent each man,
So special, so unique.
We do not cry when flowers die,
For we expect them not to last,
And yet we weep when good men sleep,
Though we know they, too, must pass.
Angels gather up the faded flowers
Which are brought to heaven and restored,
Where they will bloom forever,
In the presence of the Lord.
So why do we mourn for men,
Who, like flowers, will go home,
To be reborn and bloom again,
Beside the Father's throne?
There is no need to grieve,
Nor spend time in shedding tears,
In heaven, all begins anew,
Now more beautiful, more dear.
Man and flowers now will blossom,
Upon a hallowed plain,
Earth is done; heaven is begun,
Now time to bloom again.

THE LAST VOYAGE
He savored his last drop to drink,
His food now, too, was gone,
How long had he been lost at sea?
He had lost count - how long?
The ocean was like glass that night,
And no wind to fill the sail,
Dead in the water, the little ship,
Dear God, please send a gale.
Not a wave in the sea - not a ripple,
No gentle lapping at the prow,
Surreal the whole surroundings,
No sound - just silence now.
The quiet so quiet, 'twas frightful,
The air so still, 'twas like death,
He felt almost like it was wrong
To disturb it by taking a breath.
Listening - watching - waiting,
For what? He could not guess,
Something impending and threatening,
His heart pounding loud in his chest.
A moonless, starless night,
No way to navigate,
All the man could do was sit,
And wait ... and wait ... and wait.
He never was a patient man,
And marking time drove him wild,
Standing-by was hard for him,
Fidgety, restless as a child.
Action was his middle name,
He was always on the move,
But now, helpless on the deck,
He felt a sense of doom.
Glancing o'er his shoulder,
Was there somebody there?
No - his senses playing tricks,
Not a thing moved in the air.
Suddenly the vessel lurched,
Strange ... no gust had struck her sail,
But, no question, there was movement,
The courageous seaman paled.
The ship moved through the water,
She began to pick up speed,
The man was totally baffled,
And rattled, too, indeed.
From time to time the ship was lifted
High above the quiet sea,
Then gently dropped back to its surface,
Where it raced on silently.
The man clung to the rigging,
As if in a state of shock,
Frozen, frightened, what was all this?
His wits and senses blocked.
Ever forward - up and down,
Across the darkened sea,
Throughout the night the little ship,
Went on endlessly.
Grateful to be moving,
Yet possessing mortal fear,
The man cried loudly to the sky,
"My God, what's happening here?"
Still magically propelled,
By an unknown source of power,
On and on the vessel sped,
Until the morning hour.
At first light, all movement ceased,
The sea, again, as glass,
The man scanned the wide horizon,
Until he saw another mast!
And then another - and another,
His view was to an island port,
Safe harbor now was close at hand,
The distance, sweet and short.
Safe at last; his ordeal done,
He offered thanks in prayer,
While at the side of the little ship,
A monstrous whale was there.
It circled round, before diving down,
And sent a water spout up high.
It was, it seems, its way to say,
"You're safe, my friend, good-bye"
Can an angel be a whale?
Can a whale have angel wings?
Can a whale propel a ship?
Whoever heard of such a thing?

MY GODLY FRIEND
One morning God looked down on me,
And heard my painful moan,
I told Him I was overwhelmed,
I felt so much alone.
He sent a flower to bring me cheer,
But I did not see its bloom,
So then He sent a whole bouquet,
Which did not dispel my gloom.
Next, He gave me bright sunshine,
And I complained about the glare,
So then He offered shade to me,
But I did not see it there.
I cried some more in loneliness,
God thought, "What can I send?"
So in His wisdom and His grace,
He sent to me a friend.
He sent to me a Godly friend,
An extension of Himself,
A friend, who'd guide me back to Him,
She knew Him so well, herself.
She'd give to me her fondest love,
And would love me without end,
She would not be God's substitute,
Yet, on her, I could depend.
She'd laugh with me and cry with me,
And our secrets, we would share,
She'd be someone I'd fully trust,
She always would be there.
She might not fully understand
My manner nor my way,
But He'd send her just to be my friend,
Bade her love me anyway.
God told me that He loved me,
He was sending me the best,
And there you were, with open arms,
I knew I had been blessed.

HEAVEN
I hear stories frequently
About heaven's golden streets,
Its ivory towers and palaces,
And banquet halls unique.
Its lovely mansions in the sky,
With marble halls and floors,
And diamonds sparkling from on high,
And other gems galore.
That's quite a vision - quite a dream,
And, indeed, I am impressed,
But heaven for me I want to be
A place of simple loveliness.
Of warmth and sun and sweet loved ones,
That have gone on before,
Those are the only jewels I seek,
And hope to find at heaven's door.
Ivory and gold are very nice,
But what I'd like most to see
Are rainbows, birds, and flowers,
Not things of gold or ivory.
The banquet hall that bids me come
Need not be marble made,
Just be of trees with shady leaves,
And a floor with grass inlaid.
A garden spot like Eden,
With God, its Heavenly Host,
Standing there with open arms,
Oh yes, that's what I want most.

A CHOIR OF GOD'S ANGELS
The scene was set. The house lights dimmed,
The curtains open wide,
The diva stood at center stage,
The chorus, at her side.
I had the best seat in the house,
At my kitchen window pane,
Thrown open now to hear the sounds,
And, indeed, be entertained.
As if the Maestro tapped His stick,
And lifted His baton,
Sweet, tiny heads raised up as one,
And the birds began their song.
Like angel bells, their voices rang
Melodious and sweet
Such clarity and purity,
A most delightful treat.
Their fragile bodies quivered,
As they reached for higher notes,
They sang as if their hearts would burst,
Grand opera from such tiny throats.
I felt like an intruder,
Though I could not pull away,
A choir of God's angels,
Sang for our Lord this day.

The child, dressed in her Sunday best,
Gazed up at the Sunday school wall,
She'd never seen such a pretty scene,
She was totally thrilled with it all.
She stretched up tall for a better view,
Of the lovely picture above,
A look of wonderment on her face,
Mixed with enchantment and love.
"Oh look!" she exclaimed and smiled,
"See the lamb being held by the Man,
I want to be just like it," she said,
"Just like that little lamb."
The lamb looked contented and happy,
Secure and safe from harm,
Peaceful, serene, and protected,
At home in the Master's arms.
Young as she was, she sensed the love
The Shepherd had for His lamb,
This, she knew she wanted, too,
The care and love of this Man.
So it came to pass, while still a child
When things went wrong or amiss,
She'd see herself in the hands of the Man,
And her troubles would shortly desist.
And as she knelt to say her prayers,
When going to bed each night,
She'd say, "Dear Lord, please let me be
Like that lamb you hold so tight."
Then, as she grew older,
She kept that picture in her mind,
A place of comfort, where she'd go,
When life seemed too unkind.
Tucked snugly in that child's heart,
The vision of the Man and the lamb,
A haven always within her reach,
The warmth of the Sweet Lord's Hand.

When life on earth is over
When all is said and done
God looks down with compassion
His Heart and theirs are one
Each garden that they planted
Now left along their way
Each flower they created
Is now life's bright bouquet
For they did what they had to
With love their work complete
Their time to come to heaven
God's Angels there to greet
Within their hands God's Blessing
Soft wings they earned in life
Family there to meet them
All free of pain and strife
So weep all that you have to
But know that all is well
For strolling in this garden
Hearts you loved now dwell
Precious heart of Innocence
Picks flowers every day
Hands them to our loved ones
To each of them she'll say
Flowers for those left behind
Upon the earth will flow
Velvet petals from on high
Will scent the winds below
They will feel the comfort
It comes within love's breeze
Your spirits have been blended
The sorrow soon will ease.

Our Path is sure to go
Beyond the gates of heaven
Where love will always flow
No evil there awaits us
Just softness and life's glow
Eternity before you
His gift no more sorrow
Upon the meadows softness
Within the land so blessed
Our life within His Heaven
In comfort we take rest
In life our Dear Companion
Whose always at our side
To guide us and protect us
His Footsteps never hide
For He is always with us
No matter what we do
Giving us great courage
With love to get us through
When journey in life ends here
He'll reach His Hand to lift
The spirit of His children
Who'll share His Blessed gift.

Blessings fall from Heaven
Upon your heart to stay
It may be from your loved one
Who left this world today
Looking down with gentleness
Upon your weary heart
Sending you a special prayer
That they will never part
Always wrapped around you
Their strong and sturdy wings
Holding with devotion
The love they'll always bring
Holding you forever
Within their sight you'll be
Sending you their blessings
With love so joyfully
Knowing that you miss them
Their heart is always there
Touching you with softness
These blessings they declare
Love is never distant
Just a breath away
Touched by heart of Jesus
Love in sweet bouquets.

Come take My Hand
I'm reaching for you
With Love that is endless
With Heart that is true
Be not afraid
I am by your side
Lifting you up
With honor and pride
Suffer no more
Your life now with Me
Free of all pain
My Love endlessly
Come see magnificence
Mountains and lakes
Flowers that cascade
Like delicate lace
Roses so royal
Touched with sweet dew
My children I give this
Forever to you
Your struggle now over
Now this your reward
A place in my Heaven
With angles adored
Wings that are special
With halo that shines
I give you this beauty
Sweet life so divine
I offer my Hand
To lift you with care
The beauty of soaring
Like doves in midair
No battle was lost
As your rise to the sky
Just legions of angels
Will bow from on high.

Special prayer with love I send
Words of love that will transcend
Special rhyme that always blends
Sent with meaning now ascends
You are never far away
In this world you could not stay
Think about you every day
Heaven always lights my way
Love forever I will scroll
Prayer I offer heart extols
You will live on in my soul
Treasured memories will console
Gone from earth but still nearby
Feel your presence with sweet sigh
Always touched by wings that fly
Sparkling beauty from on high
Waving from the special place
Caught the kiss and will embrace
All the love you send with grace
Within this life a teardrop placed
Nurtured by the love I've sown
Every day my heart has known
Flowers of my heart now grown
Placed with love upon God's throne.

Remembrances ~
When someone who we care for
Has left us in this life
We feel the pain of grief each day
Hearts are filled with strife
The emptiness we feel within
We think won't go away
As the days turn into years
The heart does find a way
Remembering the beauty of
This special life we lost
The joy of what they meant to us
How much this sadness cost
We turn around and see their love
With any given sign
A word they said the smile they wore
These memories combined
Remembering the beauty
Will keep them always near
Following the path they took
Their footsteps we will hear
Forever in this special place
The path will always show
A special means to peacefulness
A road where love will go
See the beauty in this peace
Keep the light aglow
Every night before you sleep
Their heart is your rainbow.

Blessings from the heaven's glow
The wings that reach for me
Beauty in the majesty
For all the love I see
Close my eyes in silent prayer
I know that you are near
Wings that span across the sky
My eyes now see so clear
See your youth and beauty now
The heavens now your home
Traces of your heart is here
Together yet alone
I hear you as you whisper soft
I'm always by your side
Watching you so closely now
My heart with you resides
Saw you weep today my love
Do not weep for me
I'll touch you with my tenderness
My soul now burden free
Flying in the world of love
Each breeze a kiss I send
Knowing deep within my heart
One day we'll meet again.

With blue horizons home at last
Mountains framed by bluest sky
Fills his soul with gentle sigh
Path of love is paved with gold
Promised treasure eyes behold
Beyond the mountain high above
Valley of all perfect love
Rows of flowers everywhere
Nature looms in beauty rare
Hands will reach to welcome him
Hearts all joined in joyous hymn
Bounty of new world he sees
Fills his heart with ecstasy
Just one step and love is found
His gentle spirit has been crowned
Struggle on this earth is done
Memories shared with everyone
Heart will keep love safely stored
This for us our sweet reward
Final journey with slower pace
Footprints made that we will trace
Turns to wave with smile of grace

Look within the beauty of

Falling like a special prayer
Hearts of beauty all around
Cascading love is always bound
Wings of love are now in place
Protecting hearts with sacred lace
Gentle souls that never rest
Keep our hearts and spirits blessed
Cling to me with tenderness
Wings of love and happiness
Captured are these wings for me
Wrapped within mortality
Whispers echo everywhere
God's own love in beauty rare
Angel's lacy wings I see
Caressed in love so constantly
Precious wings of lace I wear
Touched by love beyond compare
Whispers in this soul of mine
Echoes of my life divined
Softest whispers next to me

God in His wisdom created a place
Loyal Heart's heaven filled with such grace
Fields that are covered in soft velvet green
Each gentle creature from earth now serene
Rainbows will follow skies will be blue
Colors that beckon with brightest of hues
Ponds that are crystal diamond-like streams
Flowing from mountains fulfilling all dreams
Trees of the Willow sweetly will sway
When each Loyal Heart needs rest for the day
Running and playing in fields made of gold
Flowers of colors on landscape is scrolled
Puppies and kittens all creatures now play
Within gate of Rainbow they gather this day
All species in life upon this earth lost
Welcomed to heaven through bridge they've crossed
So much amazement for all eyes to see
Every sweet creature God made to be
Now as they gather they look all around
Happy to be here their destiny bound
Life on earth over but Loyal Hearts near
Call out to each one they'll know you are here
Running and happy they'll come to your side
Remembering goodness they'll feel so much pride
Days spent together in heaven so blessed
Each Loyal Heart grateful for love you gave best
Walking beside you God deemed it that way
Goodness and kindness forever shall stay
Peace now will enter never to leave
Each gentle creature in life you received
Standing before you with head held so high
Knowing from this day there's no more good-byes.

We are so blessed with many things;
We're blessed with good and bad.
We're blessed with things that make us smile,
And some that make us sad.
Some blessings are the gifts we have,
And talents we possess,
Like painting, or a song we sing,
Or written thoughts expressed.
These blessings help us grow inside,
While sharing things we do,
And often help some other folks,
To see the hard-times through.
But some things are so difficult,
The blessings hard to see,
They often cloud or grip our lives,
In spite of prayerful pleas.
If we can learn to see a good,
In things that get us down,
Then we can see the blessings in,
The things that made us frown.
It must have been so very hard,
For Mary on that day,
To watch her Son be crucified,
As she knelt down to pray.
He was the perfect Son of God,
So young, with much to do,
And yet He was called home to God,
A tortured death gone through.
As we recall our Savior's life,
And then our lives compare,
It seems a little easier,
To see the joys we share.
For he has risen home to God,
In heaven's home above,
And we can each be joining Them,
Because of Father's love.

Fly
Fly, Fly little wing
fly beyond imagining.
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
upon the wind of heaven's love.
Past the planets and the stars,
leave this lonely world of ours.
Escape the sorrow and the pain
and fly again.
Fly, Fly precious one
your endless journey has begun.
Take your gentle happiness
far too beautiful for this.
Cross over to the other shore,
there is peace forevermore.
But hold this memory bittersweet
until we meet.
Fly, Fly do not fear
Dont waste a breath, dont shed a tear.
Your heart is pure
your soul is free.
Be on your way, dont wait for me.
Above the universe you'll climb
on beyond the hands of time.
The moon will rise, the sun will set but I won't forget.
Fly, fly little wing
where only angels sing.
Fly away, the time is right.
Go now, find the light.

And God Said....
I said, "God, I hurt."
And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said, "That is why I gave you tears."
I said, "God, I am so depressed."
And God said, "That is why I gave you Sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said, "God, my loved one died."
And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss."
And God said," I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where is she now?"
And God said, "Mine is on My right and yours is in the Light."
I said, "God, it hurts."

Thanks to Calvary some years ago,
My life has changed around,
To give me peace through all my storms,
Since Jesus Christ I found.
My life was very shallow then,
My feelings, they were none,
No matter how hard I tried in life,
I always felt so dumb.
My heart was scarred with hatred,
From the hurt I hid inside,
My tears became so silent,
There were times, I’d wish I had die.
I fed the hurt with anger,
And it flourished overtime,
To leave me with a bitter heart,
And wasted years combined.
But Jesus always followed me,
Everywhere I’d go,
Trying so hard to open my heart,
So He could save my soul.
Thanks to Calvary I’m a sinner saved,
By Grace, thanks to Calvary I can stand
Here in this place, thanks to Calvary
My sins are washed today, thank You
Jesus for loving me here today
