A Time To Grieve
Please allow my heart to grieve,
Let me shed the needed tears.
Don't ask me to hold it within my heart,
As I've done through the years.
Let the hurt and disappointment,
Run it's appointed time.
It needs to examine itself,
Be allowed to grieve awhile.
It needs a quiet peaceful time,
With my Lord just alone.
Only He can dry the grieving tears,
For the one to Him that's known.
In His time he will stop the flow,
He will make all things right.
And all the tears within my heart,
Will be gone in a morning light.
I'm so thankful for my Lord,
And friend that comes along beside me.
I put my grief in his loving hands.
That only He can truly see.
He looks at us through eyes of love,
For that we can be sure.
And because of His precious love,
Anything we can endure.

I Said A Prayer For You
I said a prayer for you today,
For you and those you love.
I prayed you'd feel God's presence,
Feel His guidance from above.
I asked Him to keep you safe and warm,
To send an angel before you.
To make a path and light the way,
In whatever you might do.
I have put you in His loving care,
I trust Him with all my heart.
He's faithful in His promises,
From you He will not part.
When tomorrow comes please tell me,
That you said a prayer for me.
Friends praying for each other,
Is what our Father loves to see.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever.
Amen
My friends
The most precious gift you will ever receive,
Is prayer from someone who in Jesus believes.
It is not wrapped with ribbons or bows,
and few people hear and few people know.
But it's written in the chronicles of heaven.
Each prayer muttered, is a special gift given.
And yes, I said a prayer for you tonight,
For you to be calmed from all your fright.
For healing, and you to learn of God and His ways,
And be able to look up at Him and give Him honor and praise.
I can't see your face and barely know who you are;
But I know one thing, each muttered prayer will go so very far.
Oh my brothers and sisters in Christ;
Each prayer you whisper is the greatest gift you will find.
It comes from the love of a pure heart;
That will last forever and never depart.
Someday we will all meet face to face;
We will be able to give such a warm embrace;
As the Kingdom of Heaven allows us to share;
In person what we can only do in prayer.
The most precious gift you will give; Is a prayer,
a sweet smelling fragrance so others can live..
By laying down your life in such a simple way,
Gives more to another than any gift will ever convey.
Oh prayer, no, it does not have ribbons or bows;
It costs us our time, and our love that we share.
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite."
Psalms 147:3-5
God Of Our Heart
\
God knows the number of the stars,
He calls them each by name.
He is the God of galaxies,
Such greatness we proclaim!
He spoke and the heavens were made,
His creations stand steadfast!
There's nothing in the Universe,
That could ever be surpassed!
He controls planets in their orbits,
There's nothing he can't do!
Yet, God in heaven still stoops down,
To care for me and you.
He knows our disappointments and,
How our hearts do ache.
He knows the pain and weeping,
On nights we lay awake.
He will heal our broken hearts if,
We give Him each piece.
Then He will put them back for us,
And soon the pain will cease.
There is no limit to God's love,
He'll meet our every need.
If we will yield to His love,
Each footstep He will lead.
Oh sweet Jesus, how I love thee,
You given so much to me.
I thank you with all my heart and,
For blessings yet to be.
I wake in the morning light and,
Can't wait to call your name.
And as I call I know you hear,
Since in my life you came.
Help me this day to follow you,
Wherever you may go.
I'm willing to go wherever you lead;
Pray my love for you will show.
Whisper names of those I may help,
Or spirits I may lift.
Lead me to those that I may share,
Our Father's glorious gift
All I want is to glorify your name,
In everything I do.
Walk along and spend the day,
Hand and hand with you.
Whatever Tomorrow Brings
As I look up to the heavens above,
I know that God is there.
He's always watching over me,
And hears my every prayer.
All my trials and tribulations,
With Him I want to share.
He will guide my footsteps,
I'll be safe within His care.
There are no burdens too heavy,
That He won't help me bear.
I'll call on Him to help me as,
I bow my head in prayer.
I will trust each new tomorrow,
To His precious care.
Knowing whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll find my Father there.
He accepts me just as I am,
How great to bask in His love.
I know that He loves YOU too,
As He watches from above.
A Place To Rest
Are there times when your heart is sad,
Feel you can't face another day?
Are you all alone and lonely,
Friends and family far away?
Do you struggle with daily problems,
And solutions cannot find?
Need someone to hold your hand,
When there's worry on your mind?
God gave you a place to rest,
He's waiting there for you.
Just call upon His Holy name,
There's nothing He can't do!
In His hands put your burdens,
And in the morning light,
You'll find you have the answers,
That you prayed for in the night.
Troubles will soon fade away,
And tears will disappear.
When you call upon our Father
And ask Him to come near
A Place To Rest
Are there times when your heart is sad,

Eyes of understanding
I pray for all to see
To know the pain and torment
As you hung upon the tree.
Blood-droplets pouring downward
Anguish on your face
While sins of one and all
Upon your body placed.
O precious Grace and Mercy
You yearned for all to know
The Father is not angry
And He loves you so.
Had there been no bloodshed
The perfect sacrifice
Had there been no Calvary
Or the Son, Jesus Christ...
Forever-hopeless sinners
Each of us would be
O precious Lord and Savior
Thank God for Calvary!
I shout my praises boldly
Praise God, Praise God, for thee!
O Holy Son of God
My knee I bow at Calvary.

Preacher With a Song
A cowboy woke early
With a heavy heart
He slipped out of bed,
Heading out in the dark.
He stood by the stall
In the barn near ole Joe
As he brushed him his thoughts
Turned to last winter's snow.
The weather was fierce
And the wood was all gone.
The cowboy saddled up
While singin' his song.
The words could be heard
As he sang with his might
Riding off in the distance
To cut wood by daylight.
The wind, was bone chillin'
And blindin' snow blew
But the cowboy kept cuttin'
As he sang his sweet tunes.
Lord I'm just a cowpoke
Who loves servin' You
Ain't nobody loves me
Quite like You do.
Nothin's fullfillin'
Not calls to fame...
Most folks won't ever
Know me by name.
But You Lord... You know me
And You know my heart
Cuz You saved and brought me
Out of the dark.
He sang as he cut when
Suddenly a tree
Came crashing down
Right 'cross his knees.
There was no help
For least a mile
The clouds were buildin
And the snow quickly piled.
Lord get me out of this.
For only You can
There's not a single soul
To give me a hand.
I know I've put off
Your call to preach
Yet I know You will help me
As Your face I seek.
He soon drifted
Into a silent sleep
Thoughts cast aside
Of a promise to keep.
No one said how
That cowboy got home.
But many suspect
God sent his old roan.
Months passed quickly.
The cowpoke forgot
With cattle to feed,
Brandin' and shots.
But God still continued
To nudge his old heart.
That's when the cowboy
Woke with a start!
His hands were all clammy.
Sweat dripped from his brow.
He knew what to do.
But his question was, "How?"
He headed t'wards the barn
Walked out to the stall
He knew it was time
To answer the call.
He put down the brush
As he knelt by old Joe.
Right then and there,
He stopped saying, no.
When he rose from the ground
All the struggle was gone
The cowpoke's now called
Preacher with a Song.

God's love letters written to my heart,
Precious, lovingly impart,
A whole new life graced by Jesus Christ,
Love given thus highly priced.
God’s love letters shake my lonely soul,
How they love shaping me whole,
Divine heavenly love from my Lord,
God’s love letters so adored.
God's love letters warm me to my toes,
His love, sweet love, how it glows,
Radiancy surrounds completely,
How His desires shine sweetly.
God's love letters are all the flowers,
Budding, blooming upon hours,
Jesus, His Perfect Rose makes me whole,
Oh sweet lover of my soul.
God’s love letters I love them and Him,
He’s the spark that will ne’er dim,
The Glory forever resplendent,
Jesus’ so magnificent.
God’s love letters are just beautiful,
To me they’re my life so full,
Fragrant beauties forever to be,
I praise Him for loving me.

Oh what words of wisdom Jesus whispers to you and I,
His hand reaching down from the throne upon high.
What a wonderful Savior and wonderful friend,
His love for you and I, will never end!
Nothing can compare with the love that
Jesus shares, He created us with love and care.
He keeps us safe with his love and Grace,
May God's glow always warm your face !
Each breath we take is a gift from God
Every good and perfect gift comes from Him,
How we long to see His lovely face,
Just hold Him...And feel His embrace !

While I was IN my Garden today .......
a VERY pretty leaf, caught my eye
I never noticed it before.....
The beauty of it...Made me cry
I could see the Master’s artwork
Each stroke was painted with care
So pretty in the morning sunlight
I could feel ‘His’ presence there
I can’t imagine how deep His love...
How He thought, of everything
Just looking ...At this beautiful plant
He knew, the pleasure it would bring
Oh, if we’d only take the time....
And look all around and above
We ‘d see the Master’s handiwork
And all He created ...With love
Our Master’s hands, were so busy
Wanting our world to be, just right
And If your aware of... His mighty work
You’ll see THE essence of beauty, and light!

To My Dear Family
Some things I'd like to say,
But first of all to let you know
That I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above,
Where there's no more tears or sadness
There is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you
Every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
When my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family
They'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly
As part of My big plan,
There's so much that we have to do
To help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do,
And foremost on that list of mine
Is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you
Every day and week and year,
And when you're sad I'm standing there
To wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night
The days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth
And all those loving years,
Because you're only human
They are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry
It does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers
Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
Of all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you
You wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain
Though my life on Earth is o're,
I am closer to you now
Than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends
Trust God knows what is best,
I'm still not far away from you
I'm just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
And many hills to climb,
But together we can do it
Taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you, too,
That as you give unto the world
So the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
Who is in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to God at night
My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
Who is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up
As on your way you go.
When you are walking down the street
And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face,
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go
From that body to be free,
Remember you're not going
You are coming here to me.
And I will always love you
From that land way up above,
Will be in touch again soon
P.S. God sends his love.

IF ROSES GREW IN HEAVEN.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
A BUTTERFLY LIGHTS BESIDE US.
"A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all."

WHY? ~~~~
Perhaps one day we’ll understand
Why God decided to take your hand
And lead you into Heaven above
surrounded by his tender love.
Never does a day pass by
that we don’t ask the question why?
Why did God take our precious son?
Was it something we had done?
We hope to face the Lord one day
and ask him why you couldn’t stay
on earth with those who loved you so,
those who wanted to see you grow.
We mourn for the things that will not be,
for the things with you, we'll never see.
the fun and games we'll never share,
for special times when you won't be there
No more to see your smiling face,
Nothing will ever take its place,
In our hearts you will always stay,
While we await that 'One Sweet Day'.
That 'One Sweet Day' in Heaven above,
Where we will meet and affirm our love.
Once more our arms will hold you tight,
As in God's presence we'll reunite.
Until that day, we must live our lives
Ensuring each memory of you survives,
And feel your presence, ever near,
each time we shed each painful tear.
"See you in Heaven", you'll hear us say,
as you watch over us every day,
Then when our lives on earth are done
We know you'll be the one to come.
You'll take us gently by the hand,
and lead us to God's Heavenly land,
where all together we will be,
our, once more, happy family.
