Joshua Eley Obituary

On Thursday evening, Sept. 25, 2008, God in his infinite wisdom, summoned one of our little angels.

Master Joshua Dominick Eley, 5 months old, went to sleep in Jesus at the Southern Regional Medical Center, Emporia, Va.

Although a short tenure on this earth, his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved little Joshua.

He was blessed with two sets of parents, Groucho Eley and Joyce Thompson of Wakefield; and his foster parents, Michael Sr. and Deborah Trisvan of Little Mill Road, Stony Creek, and their family.

He also leaves to mourn a special "big brother," Benjamin; 14 brothers and three sisters, and a "cousin," Jaylen of Petersburg.

A service of remembrance will be held at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, Jarratt.

Burial will follow at the Trisvan Family Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 at the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph M. Johnson Funeral Home, 11107 Doyle Blvd. McKenney. 478-4411.

Joshua,
What a bundle of joy you were. While in Florida, everyone was tired and you wanted to stay up and cackle, so I took the honor of staying up with you and hearing you cackle until you went to sleep. I love you and will miss your smile. May the angels in heaven spread their wings around you.
