Sallie Hall Obituary
She was the daughter of the late William A. and Gertrude Rowe Privette and the widow of Charles Edward Hall. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Michael Hall and Mark Steven Hall; a sister, Lynn Hall; and five brothers. Mrs. Hall was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Carson.
She is survived by two sons, Randall B. Hall and wife, Bobbie A. Hall, of Carson, and John E. Hall and friend, Terri Bennett, of Dinwiddie; three grandchildren, Misty Wright, Michele Hall Collier and Jonathan Hall; four great-grandchildren, Hunter Ray Wright, Michael Read, Sean Read, and Kaitlyn Collier; a sister, Daphine Pridgen of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and a brother-in-law, Alton Hall of Rocky Mount, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, with Nelton Thomasson, minister, officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

We are very saden for the lost of a dear friend Sally. Our prayers are with the entire family. Sally to us was known as the VA girl. A joke between us and her. May she enjoy her new home.
