To the family of Judy Patton Flythe,
I delighted in seeing Judy grow up in Martin, Tennessee. She was truly special and beautiful as a young person, and everyone knew that she would be great in her life and her career. I talked with her only a few times over the years since she left Martin, but I want you to know how proud I am of the distinguished person that she became. Although I have never met you, her immediate family, I want you to know that I and many others grieve with you. Thank God for the wonderful gifts of Judy's service to our world. Now she has entered joyfully into the House of the Lord.

To my family,
We have truly lost an angel, but Judy will be remembered in our hearts for all the wonderful things she did, and for all the love she had for her family.
A Better Place --
She’s in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.
It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.
We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
May God give us the peace that surpasses all understanding during this most difficult time.
I love and miss you, cuz

To the Family of Dr. Judy Flythe---
I had the opportunity to work with Judy in Chesterfield. She was such a gentle and loving person, full of warmth and kindness. And, she was a wonderful director---I can see her smiling face so vividly in my memory.
And, she was absolutely a sharp dresser---we would often comment on how nice Judy always looked!
Heaven has gained an angel. She will be missed.
Thank you, Judy, for all you did for teachers and children in Chesterfield.
Blessings to the Flythe family,

To the Family of Dr. Judy Flythe,
My sincere condolences on your tremendous loss. I pray for your peace, comfort and understanding at this time. It is with a great deal of admiration and fondness that I remember my associations with Judy as we worked to provide for the best leadership/management of schools and outstanding instruction for the children of CCPS. She was, undoubtedly, a lady of distinction, a mentor for many, and a kind spirit with a heart of gold. Be assured that she is an angel now. We were blessed by her.

Judy was a very special person that you would want to be able to call your "friend". She was so soft spoken and yet she got the job done at the same time. We will all miss her smile. I hope her family will find comfort along the way knowing that she is at peace. She was truly a special person to all that knew her.

I need to extend my heartfelt loss at Judy's passing. She was my Director and mentor for 8 years in Staff Development. I loved her like a sister, and though I cannot be there in Virginia, I feel some of the family's pain. She loved all her siblings so much and spoke of you often.
She will forever be in my heart.

Judy was a mentor to many. Chesterfield County Public Schools has lost a legend. So soft spoken yet so powerful as a person. An educator, that truely cared about the future of children. A great visionary and communicator. We will miss her tremendously. May the Lord keep his precious hands on the family during these trying times.
