Eileen and the entire family,

I would just like to say what a pleasure it was for me to know Irene and care for her at Belle Reve. We shared many stories of her teaching years especially about when she had my mom as a student. It was also a pleasure to be with Irene and Eileen at those last moments. Please know that you will be in my thought and prayers always.

Please let Rosmarie know that Teresa McGaw-Galloway sends her condolences also.

Just like my sister (Cheryl Wolf, below), my memories of third grade are all positive ones...because of my teacher, Ms. Miller. One morning she asked us to be quiet, then she turned on the radio and we listened to the launch of SkyLab! My condolences to her family...she was a very special person to have touched so many lives in such a positive way.

I am so sorry to read about Miss Miller's passing. My brothers and I had the privilege of having her as our third grade teacher and still speak of her with great love. In the past few years I would meet up with her shopping or such and she still remembered me. She certainly left a legacy with all her students who she loved and loved her back. Whenever I am having a bad day, I think of her and sing to myself "oh what a beautiful morning" - the way we started each morning in her class - and the day actually does get better. I am so sorry for your loss - she was a great lady.

Dear Miller Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved aunt. I have only the best memories of her as a teacher back at Sullivan Ave School. She had a real heart for teaching & loved her students. She was a great example of what a teacher should be. I can't help but think of the Hallmark Card commercial where the lady brings in the card to her old teacher - who knows how many people lives she had touched. My prayers are with your family at this time.

I wish to say that Aunt Irene was the most thoughtful, loving and caring person I ever new. She gave her all to everyone around her. God Bless You and thank you for sharing your life with all of us and your caring for my Grandmother Helen Bosch.

Dear Miller Family,
Just a few words to tell you all that I am very sorry of the death of your aunt Irene. I had her as a teacher back in the day. Then I took care of her brother Ted up on HIS MOUTAIN, as he worked hard building his log house. Your aunt Irene was at her brother's side every chance she got, and was there for him and the family the day that he passed to his Glory. I remember it so well, as I was one of the people that cared for him during the night. Irene would always come up to give me a hand rather wake your mom. Irene was the kind of person that loved helping everyone, as she never let me down all of my school days. I loved and looked up to her growing up. With all the good she had done for alot of kids back then, I know she will be rewarded and be with her brother Ted once again. Rest in peace Irene, you were the best.
Love from my heart.
